Page 36 of Her Royal Treatment

She raised an eyebrow. “You sure about that? I’m tougher than I look.”

I laughed. “No doubt about that, Vic. All the same, whenever two people of equal skill fight, nine times out of ten it’s going to go to whoever’s bigger. I’ve got height, reach, and weight on you.”

“And all I’ve got in my defense is the hope that you’re too much of a gentleman to hit a woman.”

“Lucky for you, I am, except in this context, of course. But trust me, I’ve been in this business for long enough to know that there’s no shortage of pricks out there whowouldpull something like that.” I said the words with a grave tone, letting her know that this was serious. Her expression flattened, telling me she got the message. “And my job is to make sure that none of them get anywhere near you. If theydo, I want you to know how to get away from them unharmed and in one piece.”

She nodded. “Just tell me what to do.”

“First, I want you to be aware of your advantages. I’ve got size, but that can also work against me with someone much smaller. It’s difficult as hell to get ahold of you, which means that whatever I try to do against you, my center of gravity’s going to get all kinds of wonky. And that’s your first lesson—do whatever you can to upset the center of gravity. If you can do that, you can use your size toyouradvantage.”

“Got it. So…how do I do that?”

“Let me show you. Say I’m coming at you, trying to grab.” I reached my arms out for her. “I’m being carried by the momentum of my weight and size. And momentum can easily be turned against someone. Try it. Put your hands on my shoulders as I come for you and give me a shove.”

She squared up to begin. However, I could tell by the look on her face that she wasn’t entirely convinced of the plan.

“Ready? Now!”

I moved forward, ready to grab her. Instead of doing as I’d asked, however, she instead put her arms over her face and let out a squeal.

“No, wait!”

I stopped a few feet from her. Once Vic realized that I wasn’t moving in for the attack, she spread her arms out and peeked at me with those gorgeous blue eyes of hers.

I laughed. “Just so you know, if you come across a bad guy in the wild, he’s not going to be too persuaded by that kind of move.”

She took in a deep breath as she let her arms drop to her sides.

“I know, I know. It’s just that… I’m not used to seeing gigantic men running toward me like that. Kind of startling when it actually happens to you.”

“That’s what self-defense is all about,” I said. “Knowing what to do when someone is running in your direction with the intent to harm.”

She laughed. “Fair enough. Alright, let’s try it again.”

I nodded. “So, I’m going to come in from the right. That means you’re going to make your move from the left. Put your hands on my shoulders and give me a shove.”

“Do your worst.”

I stepped back, then moved in again, but I had a little trick in store for her. Instead of pivoting to the right, as I’d just told her, I did the opposite.

The surprised look on her face let me know that the trick affected her in just the way I’d been hoping. Her blue eyes flashed as I moved quickly on my feet, sliding in right behind her and slipping my arms under hers. Once she was in my grasp, I pulled her back and wrapped my right leg in front of both of hers. It’d all happened in a flash, and by the time it was all said and done, her ass was pressed against my cock.

I held her, focusing every last bit of mental energy I had on not letting myself go stiff. But it was impossible. Each pulse of my now racing heart only made my cock harder and harder, and I was forced to let her go before my erection was pressing into her perfect, round ass.

She hurried out of my grasp, running a few feet ahead and turning to regard me with wide eyes. I quickly pinched myself again, my erection thankfully fading.

“What the hell was that?”

“What?” I asked.

She waved her hand in front of her. “That move you just did.”

I put my hands on my hips. “What about it?”

“It wasn’t fair! You told me you were going to do one thing and then you did something entirely different. You didn’t give me a chance to prepare!”

I flashed her a grin. “That’s another one of your first lessons—not everyone fights by the rules. In fact, some people fight damn dirty. And you’re going to have to be ready for it.”
