“Don’t apologize.” He wrapped an arm around her, splaying his palm along her belly, and his mouth dipped to her neck. “Breathe for me.”

She inhaled slowly.

“You’re okay,” he said, voice soft and comforting. “I’m going to take good care of you. You’re safe. It’s just me and you. Two longtime friends. We’ll go at whatever pace you need. We can stop here if you want.”

She exhaled slowly and shook her head. “Please don’t stop here. Please.”

“Such good manners,” he said, a hint of a smile in his voice. He kissed the spot where her shoulder met her neck. “Just try to focus on how you feel. Be in your body instead of your head.” His tongue traced lines of sensation along her skin, making her shift against him. His teeth grazed the curve of her shoulder, and after a few more kisses, his other hand dipped low. Closer, closer… Her teeth dug into her bottom lip when he found the place where she was sensitive and slick.

She leaned back against his shoulder and moaned softly. His mouth teased her earlobe. “There you go. That’s good. Feel how wet you are for me, how much your body craves this. It knows what to do.”

Her muscles loosened, his words just what she needed to hear, and her attention zeroed in on the slightly callused tips of his fingers brushing over her with just enough pressure to make her feel a little crazed.

His breath tickled her ear. “Tell me where I’m touching you, freshman.”

The command startled her, and she found herself pressing her lips together, giving a barely-there head shake.

He kissed her neck, and his finger circled that sensitive little button that made her feet arch. “Is that a no?”

She squeezed her eyes shut, the sensations making it hard to process her thoughts. Part of her wanted to do what he said, but the words wouldn’t come. “It’s not a no—it’s an I don’t know if I can.”

He dipped his finger lower, sliding just the tip inside her, and her body clenched around him.

“The words can be a turn-on. And freeing. Claiming them can feel powerful.” He rubbed his cock against the small of her back, slowly, slowly, that velvety heat obscenely sexy. “How did you feel the night I challenged you? Threatened to lick your pussy?”

“Shocked,” she said quietly. “And turned on. Len said you had a dirty mouth.”

“He wasn’t wrong,” he said, amusement in his voice. “I’m a fan of the fun words.”

“Why?” she asked, her stomach tensing as he slid two fingers over her, spreading the slickness and waking up every nerve ending she had.

“It’s fun to know the power they can have,” he said. “That I could get you wound up without even touching you. I could call you one day. You could be in the library surrounded by people, and I bet I could get you wet with a few choice words. And you could do the same to me. Hearing those kinds of words roll off your lips one day? Might kill me.”

She smiled at that, liking the idea of affecting him that way.

“But I can be patient,” he said, turning her in his arms. “Only say it when and if the spirit moves you. You mind me saying them?”

“Not even a little bit.”

He smiled and gave her a wicked look. “Good. Because I’m about to spread your legs and lick that pretty cunt of yours until you come against my tongue.”

She gasped and lightning crackled through her.

“Get on the bed, freshman. I’m ready to teach.”

CHAPTERTWELVE

O’Neal turned and sat on the end of the bed, finding Auden wearing only those black boxer briefs. He’d tucked himself back inside as if sensing she needed to take this in doses, but the boxers didn’t hide the gorgeous lean muscle of his chest and stomach or the very prominent state of his arousal. She’d seen him in the barely-there bathing suit that he wore for swim meets, had weaved many erotic fantasies about him in that outfit, but that couldn’t compare to this, seeing him hot and hard and ready to do sexy, dirty things to her. Right now, Auden was all hers.

“I like how you look at me,” he said.

Her tongue pressed to the back of her teeth, staunching the desperate sound that had tried to escape at the thought of touching every last bit of him. “I like looking.”

“Good. Lie back on your elbows,” he said, tone full of calm command. “I want you to keep your eyes open. Watch for as long as you can. I want you to see what I’m doing to you.”

She bit her lip, an illicit thrill zipping through her, and leaned back, keeping her gaze on him. Part of her brain wouldn’t accept that this was the reality in front of her—Auden looming above her naked body. Her schoolgirl fantasies couldn’t have conjured this. She’d known what he looked like in his swimsuit, but she never would’ve been able to fathom this expression on his face, that dark sexual confidence, that look that said he could absolutely unravel her.

Before this, if casting a TV show, she would’ve put him into the good guy role, the easy-to-smile boy next door. That was who she’d always known him as. The Dean Forester to her Gilmore Girl. ButthisAuden? He’d need to be on an entirely different show. One where characters drew blood—or drank it.
