“I bet you’re going to figure it out real fast.” He gave her a wink. “Speaking of which, we have someone waiting for us in the other room.”

She glanced toward the hallway, thoughtful. “You think Auden will actually show me what he likes?”

Lennox’s playful expression flattened a little. “Just me and you talking? Probably not. At least not yet and not to the full extent. He’ll give you a taste. Feel you out. Edit himself.”

She let out a frustrated breath.

“But don’t be too hard on him. He hasn’t fully come to terms with what he likes, so it’s difficult for him to show someone like you, a friend who means something to him, a side of himself that he still feels shame about.”

“Should I be scared of him?” The question came out a little shaky.

Lennox’s eyes softened. “He would tell you yes. I am telling you no. He always honors people’s boundaries and safe words. The guy you know, at the heart, is the guy he is. Kind. Protective. Smart.” He smirked. “He’s just a fucking deviant in bed.”

She laughed. “I love how you say that as if it’s the highest compliment.”

He shrugged beneath her hold. “It is.”

She chewed her lip, pondering. “What can I do to get him to show me the real things he likes?”

Lennox lifted a hand and tucked her hair behind her ear, scanning her expression. “You might not be ready for that.”

Well, thatpushed her buttons and not the good kind. “Don’t do that. I can make my own choices. I have a safe word.”

Lennox frowned, a pensive look on his face. “Well, if you want to test him out, when we go in there, whatever he tells you to do…”

“Yeah?” she asked.

He leaned close. “Tell him no and see what happens.”

A ripple of apprehension went through her. “Oh.”

CHAPTERNINETEEN

Auden stared out of his bedroom window, fighting the urge to pace. He needed to get his head together. Having O’Neal submit to him was too big of a temptation. She was so open and willing and eager to please. Whispering instructions to her, watching her take Len’s cock down her throat, catching the scent of how turned on she was by it all…the effect was as heady as a drug shot straight into his veins. He needed to rein himself in, take things slow. She was so new to all of this. He had to remember that.

There was a tap on the door, and Auden turned, finding Len leaning against the doorjamb and O’Neal in front of him, dressed in only her pale blue panties, her arms secured behind her back with Len’s black tie, her breasts pushing forward. The sharp kick of arousal in Auden’s gut nearly knocked him backward. Fuck, she was beautiful. Not just sexy but so…her. He didn’t know another way to explain it. She had some quality unique to her that captivated him.

Auden crossed his arms over his chest, his dick already getting stiff again behind the fly of his jeans. “Are you ready to apologize to me for that little charade earlier tonight?”

Her lips parted.

He expected her to say yes. To quickly say she was sorry. Then he was going to give her something to do to make it up to him before he let her come.

But instead, she jutted her chin and met his gaze. “No.”

The defiant word went through him like a mild electric shock, putting him on alert. He lifted his brows. “No?”

She squared her shoulders, and the look on her face reminded him of the O’Neal he’d grown up with, the quietly stubborn girl who had never been afraid to put her best friend’s older brother in his place when he got too bossy. “No.You’rethe one who didn’t callme. If you couldn’t be there for me, then why wouldn’t I go to Len? You couldn’t get the job done, so I replaced you.” She shrugged. “In fact, maybe I’ll just go to his room instead. I bet he won’t make me apologize.”

“True,” Len said, mischief dancing in his eyes.

Heat rushed through him like a lava flow, her challenging words lighting up things inside him. The good girl was pushing back. He could play that game too. “Be careful, freshman. I’m not one to play poker with. Let’s not pretend you don’t want me, that the show earlier wasn’t just a big attention grab.” He cocked his chin at her. “Get on your knees and say you’re sorry, and maybe I won’t make this harder for you. Maybe I’ll actually let you come tonight.”

Her jaw clenched, and she didn’t break eye contact.

Part of him wanted her to comply, but another, darker part of him was salivating. “Well?”

Her eyes narrowed.“I said no.”
