Hands and lips trailing along every centimetre of skin he could reach, Bryce held one of the loves of his life close and made love to him. With slow, deep thrusts, he swallowed Cole’s cries with every kiss. With every swivel of his hips, they neared the precipice. With every caress of their tongues, he climbed higher.

Cole trembled in his arms, but his sweat-soaked skin flushed hot. Bryce nuzzled the spot below his ear, the one that always made Cole shiver, and he sucked on his lobe. Cole moaned long and low, his hips shifting forward before driving back again, meeting Bryce thrust for thrust as he instinctively searched for friction on his dick.

Bryce was close, the tingling at the base of his spine radiating outward in waves. His balls drew tight and his cock hardened even more. He needed Cole right there with him. He wanted his man to come from his dick buried deep in him. Could he do it? Could he make Cole come without touching his cock? He knew Cole was almost there too, but with every tunnel forward into his tight heat, the chances Bryce could hold out lessened.

Desperation overtaking him, Bryce closed his fist over Cole’s throbbing length and stroked him. Up and down once, then twice, and Cole shouted out, his body locking tight as he erupted, shooting pulse after pulse of his seed against the kitchen cabinets. His channel clenched and released in time with each spurt and any hope that Bryce could hold out shattered. He buried himself deep, pressing his hips against Cole’s and hurtled off the edge, floating in bliss as he emptied his load into Cole’s channel.

Choirs could have been singing and fireworks going off in the same room, but all Bryce could concentrate on was Cole. The musky scent of their sex in the air, the feel of his warm skin pressed up against Bryce. The weight of his body as he went boneless in his arms and the noises he made when he was still flying high from his drawn-out orgasm. Bryce had edged him over and over and Cole was revelling in the payoff.

Breathing hard, he held Cole to him, staying wrapped in each other’s arms with their sweaty skin cooling in the late afternoon autumn chill. Bryce never wanted to leave this spot. Still buried deep but sated, he could happily stay in this very position until he could get it up again and go for round two.

When Cole came back to himself, he nuzzled Bryce’s cheek, snuggling into him.

“Let’s get you cleaned up,” Bryce murmured as his cock slipped free of Cole’s depths.

“Wait.” He gripped Bryce’s forearm, holding him firm. Bryce tightened his grip on his man and Cole relaxed into him once more, melting against his chest. He loved it when he could wrap Cole and Ava up in his arms and seemingly protect them from the world. “I…” Cole blew out a breath and pressed a soft kiss to Bryce’s lips. “I love you.”

Shock held him momentarily immobile. He knew Cole loved him. He showed him in everything he did, from the simple things like a kiss or a touch, all the way to making his and Ava’s visions for their project come to life. He cooked their favourite foods and worshipped their bodies like he was a devout disciple at the altar. But he’d never said it back to them.

Neither Bryce nor Ava had pushed him. Just because they’d been ready to say it, it didn’t mean Cole was. But to hear Cole tell him he loved him was, short of Ava telling him she loved him, the single greatest thing he’d ever heard.

When his brain kicked in, Bryce spun Cole in his arms and wrapped him up tight. Jubilation filled him, and Bryce wanted to shout from the rooftops that he was the luckiest bloke on the planet. He lifted Cole off his feet, twirling them around as he whooped. Laughter bounced off the walls of the empty house, the sound hearty and joyful. “I love you too.” Smiling, Bryce kissed him, their lips melding and their tongues caressing as he worshipped Cole all over again.

Cole laughed as he pulled away, the sound a melody to Bryce’s ears as he kissed a line down his man’s throat. “How the fuck did I get so lucky?” he asked.

“I ask myself the same question every day,” Bryce responded, running his lips over Cole’s stubble. He pressed their foreheads together, letting his eyes flutter closed as he basked in the words his lover had spoken.

“Let’s go home,” Cole suggested. “I want to tell our girl I love her too.”

“Yeah?” Bryce’s smile made his cheeks hurt. He couldn’t wait to see Ava’s reaction.

Colour rose up Cole’s throat, his smile turning shy. He nodded. “Yeah. I told her this morning, but I wanna tell her again.”

hey’d been lucky with their first couple of flips. Six months into their business and they were killing it. Their third house had just been listed with an agent and the photographer was swinging by the next day once Bryce had touched up their staging. He was flying in with the team later that night after their afternoon match on the Gold Coast wrapped up.

Ava wished she could have been there, but he’d insisted she stay and sort out the listing with the real estate agent. The market was turning and all three of them were nervous. Offloading this house was critical.

“A little to the right,” Ava suggested. Cole tossed a smirk over his shoulder and lined up the level he was using to make sure the paintings were hung straight. The bubble lined up perfectly and Ava stuck out her tongue. “Fine, Mr Know-it-all. Don’t change it.”

Cole placed the level on the buffet and playfully narrowed his eyes. Ava squealed and threw the white cushion at his head before taking off and putting the kitchen island bench between them. Cole laughed and tossed the cushion carelessly on the couch before chasing her. She laugh-squealed again and dashed around the table, holding onto the chairback as if it were a shield. She’d use it against him too. Although truth be told, she’d never fight to stay away from either Cole or Bryce. They were her whole heart and these last few months working together had been a dream come true. She worked hard—longer hours than she’d ever worked before, but that was because she took ownership of every project. They were her babies. She wanted the best properties to create homes in and so far, they’d been spot on. Triple Threat was thriving. Three properties down and two more already on the books. One was awaiting approval for the extension they planned on adding and the other had already been demoed, ready for the new kitchens and bathrooms.

Cole faked a move left and chased right. Ava fell for his bluff, moving to the right. He laughed and lunged at her as she swore, wrapping her in a bear hug as she playfully fought to break free. Cole just dipped her back and Ava squeaked, gripping onto him to stop herself falling. He shook his head and sucked on her bottom lip until she moaned and hooked her leg over his calf, trying to bring them closer.

“I’ll never let you fall,” Cole murmured before kissing her again.

“Too late,” she teased before licking his ear and scrambling out of his hold as soon as he reached up to wipe it off.

“You little shit.” He laughed, the light in his eyes making her heart sing. He was still grumpy, and his resting face always had a frown, but nowadays, it was one of concentration rather than annoyance. He loved being back on the tools. He loved creating and learning new things and finding ways to build Bryce’s visions. It was a privilege to be able to give that to him.

But the biggest change in Cole had occurred a few months earlier. When he’d finally allowed himself to tell them he loved them, it was as if he’d become a different person. Lighter, happier, and more open with his affections. It sucked that they were stuck showing that affection behind closed doors. It killed her not being able to demonstrate to him the same love in public she could give to Bryce, but he hadn’t budged on his insistence that she was Bryce’s girlfriend and he was their flatmate.

Ava darted around the couch. She thought she’d dodged him, but Cole didn’t even slow down, vaulting over it like he was a kangaroo. Open-mouthed, Ava hesitated for a fraction of a second, but it was all he needed. He grabbed her in a headlock and ruffled her hair. Ava fought dirty, grabbing a handful of that luscious butt with one hand and the other sliding her hand along the front of his cargo pants. It did the trick, halting Cole’s movements as he rolled his hips into her hand.
