“Yes baby, right here, right now.”

“I—I, okay.” Who am I kidding? I could use a release. It’s been one hell of a day. Cole’s right. Every time he turns around, I seem to be causing a problem. Well, something happens and I end up in the middle of it. Which really isn’t even my fault, it’s more Cole’s fault when it come’s right down to it. Right? Hell yes, I’m right.

Cole trails kisses up and down my neck, his thumb rubs my tender flesh, and two of his fingers slip inside. I moan, but Cole stifles it with a kiss. “Shh, Cookie, wrap your arms around me and put your face in the crook of my neck.”

“Cole,” I breathe into his skin as his fingers work their magic. His fingers move with the rhythm of the music. I lose myself in the feel of both Cole and the music. The rush of pleasure rolls over me like the roaring waves of the music’s beat, each wave bringing me higher and higher. “I’m there,” I whimper into Cole’s neck. Cole plunges his fingers in, and the pressure of his thumb increases. I tighten my grip around him and bury my face in his shoulder, biting down as I ride one last wave that sends me over the edge to orgasmic bliss.

“Oh god Kate, thank you,” Cole whispers in my ear. “Let’s go home, baby.”

“I’m the one who should thank you.” I feel languid, almost boneless, but my head spins, and my mouth gets dry. “I really need to use the bathroom now.” Cole scoots us to the edge and helps me stand up.

“Do you need help to the bathroom?”

I walk a few steps but feel okay. “I think I’ll be fine.” It’s a good thing I went with the flats tonight or I’d be a wobbling mess. In the bathroom, I grab a paper towel and dowse it with cold water. I take it into the stall, holding it on my face. I take a few deep breaths, trying to calm my stomach, but I’ve been severely overstimulated and I can’t seem to get myself to settle down and everything comes up.

“Sheesh,” I mutter to myself when I stand. I feel better. I just need some water. When I open the stall, I run into someone. “Oh sheesh, sorry.” I glance up to see Shane standing in front of me, only now she’s a blonde. Whatever. “What? Cole didn’t trust me to use the bathroom alone. I don’t like you, so back off.” I walk up to the sink, ignoring her. I am now severely irritated with her and with Cole. I’m in the freaking bathroom, for goodness’ sakes.

I turn to leave, and Shane stands in front of me. “Well, lead the way,” I say, annoyed for the thousandth time today.

She opens the bathroom door, and I follow her out. “This way.” She points towards a side emergency exit. I scrunch my eyebrows at her. “Mr. Holt had the car brought around so you can leave.” Well, Cole wanted to go home. I just didn’t realize he was so hot to trot. She lingers behind me until we reach the door, then steps in front of me. I peer briefly behind me. “Cole?” I question. Shane shoves me out the doors, and the alarm blares. I turn around, “Wait, I think that was Cole.”

Shane looks at me, her tall blonde figure hovering over me. “It wasn’t.”

What is it with me and pushy blondes? There’s a limo idling just outside the door. “Excuse you,” I berate, taking a defiant stance with my arms across my chest. “Don’t push me.” I look back at the door and then at the limo. I guess it wasn’t Cole. I shake my head. I’m still buzzing from all the alcohol and my tryst with Cole in the booth. Ooh, maybe that’s why he got the limo, so we can have some privacy. This gets my body really buzzing.

“Get in the limo, Mrs. Holt.”

“Fine.”

Shane opens the door for me, and I climb in. Inside, I come face to face with a very large, grumpy looking man dressed in a suit, and no Cole. The door slams shut. I yank on the handle, trying to open it, but it doesn’t budge. “Hey,” I scream, “let me out.” I look back at the very large, not so nice-looking man who’s quietly sitting, staring at me. This is bad, this is so very, very, bad. I’m still drunk and trying to make a half-assed attempt to escape would, in the plot of any sci-fi movie, be futile. So, as calmly as I can, I sit down across from the stranger. The limo jerks forward, speeding down the road. Any pleasurable feelings I was having are gone, replaced exclusively by fear. I’m not sure what’s happening. But I’m pretty sure Shane doesn’t work for Luke. I cross my arms protectively. I look the man over; he’s huge and not in a fat way. He’s got large, round black eyes and an ugly crooked nose. He just sits there. I adjust my arms and a humph escapes.

“Your security chick, Shane, if that’s her name, is a bitch, you should really do something about that.”

“You’re a difficult woman to get alone, Mrs. Holt.”

I tighten my arms around my middle, sticking my chin in the air. “Most people ask nicely.”

“Yes, well, I’m not most people, and you will do well to remember that.”

My eyes get wide. He just threatened me.

“Who are you?”

“My name is not important.”

“Okay, that’s interesting ‘Mr. Not Important,’ why have you kidnapped me?” Thanks to my drunken state, my filter isn’t working so well, especially since I’m a little scared. Hell, who am I kidding? I’m terrified. My heart spikes after I’ve said this. That was not the smartest thing I’ve ever said.

He reaches out one of his large meaty hands, yanking me so I am sitting across his lap. “Do not mock me, Kate. You’ll only regret it.”

I whimper, my heart’s beating so fast I’m sure it’s going to burst out of my chest and sweat pricks at my scalp. I tug on my arm and ‘Mr. Not important’ lets me go.

“I have not kidnapped you. We’re simply having a conversation. You got into my limo willingly.”

I arch my eyebrows. “Get to the point and let me leave.”

“We could have a little fun while you’re here.” One of his chunky fingers glides up my leg.

I push myself off him, scrambling back to the other side and slump into the corner of the limo.
