CHAPTER TWENTY-FIVE – MULBERRY

Club Bandit hummed with an energy Mulberry had never experienced before, and it was like her cells absorbed the mix of passion and adrenaline.

Sure, she’d stepped foot in many nightclubs, lots of spaces packed with people.

But something about the club caressed her senses in a new unfiltered way. As she followed Nick up the broad staircase, she caught sight of a tall, broad-shouldered man with black hair, comforting the woman she had seen on the spiderweb thing. The way he touched her, held her, spiked a bolt of jealousy.

She paused on the stairs, watching a sub get worked over with what looked like a spikey lint roller.

Nick pulled her tight against him.

“See how she closes her eyes in ecstasy? I want to put that look on your face. Is there anything here that is freaking you out?”

Yes, but in the best possible way because learning about her own kinks sent her reading about all of them.

The pro-Dom agency informed her about consent, power exchanges, about dom and sub relationships but she never risked going to a BDSM club.

Mostly because she didn’t want her mother to find out.

“No,” she leaned against his muscular chest. “I love it.”

His eyes glowed as he stroked her cheek. “I thought you would. Come, little cat.”

Right at the top of the stairs was the glass cube.

From here, it looked like a box made of ice.

The glass paneling had a blueish tint to it.

The room was bare except for two chairs, a leather table and a chaise.

On the outside, the room was surrounded by benches and chairs.

Her heart fluttered against her chest. She had dreamt about a place like this. to be here, in the flesh, was…surreal.

“Are you sure?” Nick’s clear gaze held hers, his fingers lifting her chin.

“I don’t know what is going to happen tomorrow. Life has taught me to seize the moments,” she smiled.

But Nick nodded, pulling her tight against his chest. “Then let’s go play and put on a show, ma belle.” His breath tickled her ear.

“Yes, oh yes.”

He broke away from her, strode over to the cube. Her stomach danced with butterflies, her nipples grew tight.

“Nobody is up here?” She couldn’t help the disappointment in her tone at seeing empty benches and chairs.

“They will be,” Nick said.

Nick slid the door to the cube open.

As she walked further into the room, it was larger than she had first realized. The floor was smooth under her feet.

Against one wall was a queen-sized bed decked out with gold sheets.

Soft diffused light rained down in a gentle arc from the track lighting above.

Along the third wall were hooks and a metal bar, and in the centre was an oversized wooden chair with curving arms and a padded seat.
