"What are you thinking about over there?" Xavier asks, a smile in his voice as we pull into the parking garage.

"Lying and spying."

He laughs abruptly. "How is it that you always manage to say the most unexpected shit, and yet it's never entirely a surprise?"

"Don't ask me," I mutter.

"Why are you thinking about lying and spying?" He pulls into Tate's reserved spot.

"I was just thinking that Finn is probably good at lying and spying," I explain. "I'm not very good at either. I always get busted doing one or the other. It's why I always get in trouble."

"Ah," he says, killing the engine.

"I bet he could give me lessons."

Xavier growls.

I bite my lip, fighting a laugh.

"You're itching for a spanking, aren't you, kitten?"

"What? No."

"You keep talking about other men, and you're going to get one," he warns me.

"I suppose I could ask Ryker to teach me."

He turns those seafoam eyes on me, not blinking. "Charlie, get out of the truck."

Uh-oh.

"I'm just kidding, Xavier."

"Out of the truck, kitten. Now."

I gulp, unlatching my seatbelt.

He hops out, circling around to my side. By the time I have the door open, he's waiting to help me down, his eyes twin pools of green flame. Oh, boy. I think I'm really in trouble this time.

I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing.

He wraps his hands around my waist and lowers me to my feet, making sure he drags me down his body the whole way. I gasp when I feel his erection against my center and then my belly. As soon as my feet touch the floor, I place my hand on his chest to steady myself.

"Go inside," he says.

I decide not to argue with him and head for the elevator.

He follows behind me. I can feel his eyes on my ass the whole time. By the time I make it to the elevator, my heart is racing, and my panties are soaked. It takes all of my concentration not to squirm while we wait for the elevator to reach the parking deck.

When it does, he follows me on, still not speaking.

As soon as the doors close behind us, he pounces.

I end up pressed against the wall, my cheek to the sleek, chrome wall.

His hand comes down on my ass in a sharp smack.

I cry out in shock, pushing back against him in a plea for more.

"Keep teasing me, and you'll be carrying my kid before you finish college, kitten," he growls in my ear. "I'll keep that belly round so every motherfucker you come across knows you belong to someone."

"Xavier," I moan.

He smacks my ass again, making me shout his name. It shouldn't feel that good. I know it shouldn't. Yet it does.

"You're mine, little kitten. No one is teaching you to lie or spy. You're perfect exactly the way you are." He rakes his teeth down the side of my throat. "You don't mess up anything. You do exactly what needs to be done." His hand sinks into my hair, craning my head back. "You're perfect."

He takes my mouth in a searing kiss, pouring his conviction into it. My soul cries out, surrendering to him. It's impossible to doubt him. In his eyes, I am perfect. He believes it completely, without hesitation.

"No, no, no," I cry, writhing in torment when he peels his body from mine a moment later. I need him. I need him right now. So damn bad I'm shaking.

"I've got you," he says, grabbing my hand. He drags me off the elevator and into Tate's penthouse.

My back hits the wall.

He strips me right there, sending my clothes flying in a frenzy of need. His go, too, his shirt flung one way, his pants another. He comes back to my mouth again and again, kissing me as if he can't stop. I know I can't. Every time he breaks from my lips, I want him right back.

By the time he drops to his knees in front of me, I'm a stuttering, sobbing mess.

"So sweet," he croons, draping my leg over his shoulder. He turns his head, placing a kiss to my inner thigh. His molten eyes meet mine. "Let's see how much of a hellcat you really are, little kitten." Wickedness dances in his expression.

He dips his head, flicking out his tongue.

I shout his name, clawing at the wall.

He growls against my center and then gets to work. He eats me loud and messy, driving me right to the brink and then backing off. He does it over and over. Until I'm scratching and clawing, desperate to go over. I fight him for it, wailing his name. Begging for it. I'm a needy, aching, sweaty mess. And he loves it. God help me, but the bossy, infuriating man loves every second of it.

"That's right, little kitten," he growls, looking up at me, his face soaked with my juices. "This body belongs to me. I'm the only man you think about. I'm the only man you see."
