I cringed. “You and Axel are my brothers,” I reminded him. “I never want to hear her sex stories.”

Julian barked out a laugh, and then the sound of his coach shouting something in the background reached my ears. “Jesus fuck.” Julian swore. “I need to go.” He told me. “Call me whenever, okay? And don’t forget to have your ass at my place when I have games.”

I smiled. “Julian, I still may not understand what the fuck happens in football, but I’ll always go watch your games,” I promised. “I don’t care how shitty of a day I’m having.”

“That’s my girl,” He praised. I smiled. “Alright, love you, Sis. I really have to go.”

He hung up before I could respond, but my chest felt a little lighter. It always did after talking to Julian. He had a way of getting me to talk to him—always had.

Christian and Caiden were playing a video game with weird characters, both of them barking instructions into headsets. Christian flashed me a smile before he focused his attention back on the game. “You good, baby?” he asked me.

“Yeah; Julian was just checking in since I didn’t go see him off for his flight,” I told him.

“Hey, dipshit, shut the fuck up.” Caiden snapped into the headset. My eyes widened in alarm. “He’s talking to his woman. Some people actually have girlfriends and don’t have to use their fucking hands in their momma’s basement.”

I stared at Caiden with wide eyes. Christian was laughing so hard, he ended up getting killed. Caiden flashed me a grin. “Bro, you can suck my left nut,” he snapped into the headset. Christian snatched his headset off his head and reached out to pull me down onto his lap. He then wrapped his arms around me, going back to playing his game.

“Mother fucker, I’m not gay. I’m fucking bisexual, dumbass,” Caiden retorted.

Christian rolled his eyes. “Tell the fucking world, why don’t you?”

Caiden lightly shoved Christian’s shoulder with a laugh. “I like dick and pussy. Not a damn thing in the world wrong with that.”

My eyes widened in surprise. “Fuck, he’s really open,” I whispered.

Christian laughed as he pressed a kiss to my shoulder. “He’s always been like that,” he told me. “It’s just something you get used to. He doesn’t feel the need to hide from the world.”

I looked over my shoulder at him. “Are you used to it yet?” I asked him.

Christian snickered. “No, not really. I’ve just learned to tune him out.”

“Ass,” Caiden griped, making me giggle.

The game ended, and Christian set his controller down before he leaned back on the couch, pulling me with him. He rubbed his thumb under my eye. “Did you cry?” he quietly asked me as a slight frown tugged at his lips.

I traced my fingers along his jaw. “Almost,” I told him honestly. He brushed his thumb over my bottom lip, pride for me shining in his eyes for me being honest with him. “Julian has a way of getting me to talk.” I shrugged. “He always has.”

“That your other boyfriend?” Caiden teased.

Christian glared at Caiden as he tightened his hands on my waist. “Gross.” I scrunched my face up in disgust as I looked at Caiden. “Julian Markos?” I asked him. Caiden’s eyes widened in shock. “He’s my brother-in-law, and I’ve known him since I was a baby.”

“Holy shit!” Caiden exclaimed. “Your brother is the quarterback for the Patriots?”

“Yes,” I grumbled. I hated when people latched onto that fact. I turned so I was straddling Christian’s lap. A low rumble sounded from his chest as he gripped my hips, his eyes darkening, though he knew I wasn’t trying to be sexual.

“That’s pretty fucking awesome,” Caiden admitted as I leaned my head on Christian’s shoulder, letting my eyelids shut. He ran his hands up and down my back, easily lulling me to sleep.

“Shut up so she can sleep,” Christian grumbled. “She’s had a long ass day.”

“Pizza will be here in a few,” Caiden reminded us.

“I’ll eat later,” I mumbled, already almost asleep. Every therapy session I had always made me extremely tired, and then coming home and having hot sex in the kitchen with Christian? I was fucking exhausted.

Christian brushed his lips to my forehead. “Go to sleep, beautiful. I’ve got you.”

“M’kay.”

“Fucking perfect,” Christian whispered as he pressed his lips to the shell of my ear.

When I woke up the next morning, Christian was gone to do his internship for the day already, but there was a rose on his pillow with a note that told me to have a good day and to call if I needed anything.

I smiled. He really was fucking good to me.

I slipped out of bed and went straight to the bathroom to take my medication. I pulled them all down from the shelf, making a mental note in my head that I really needed to get a pill organizer so I didn’t have to open and close all of these damn bottles twice a day.
