“Caiden,” I whimpered, getting so close.

“Come for me,” he ordered. He lightly wrapped his hand around my throat, applying the slightest bit of pressure as he did so. I cried out his name, my back arching as I came, my hands twisting into the sheets of the bed.

He unfastened his jeans and pulled his cock out. With no warning, he pushed inside of me, my walls still pulsing with my orgasm. I shot up into a semi-sitting position, my eyes snapping to his. Gripping the back of my neck, he pulled my lips up to his, proceeding to fuck me and claim me. He followed me back down to the bed, and gripped my right leg behind my knee, yanking it up, driving deeper and harder.

I couldn’t tell where one orgasm ended and the next one began. All I knew was that I was begging him to never stop, and he didn’t. He kept taking me over and over like a man possessed—like a man starved.

And I couldn’t get enough of him.

CAIDEN’S DATE

Caiden

“Bro, you barely slept a wink last night,” Christian commented as he leaned against the spare bathroom doorjamb. Ally was asleep, having passed out right after Christian woke her up to take her medicine this morning. Since she was asleep, I was getting ready in the spare bathroom so I wouldn’t wake her up by accident. She was out of her first trimester now and was fourteen weeks pregnant. Her pregnancy was making her exhausted, and I could normally always find her napping when I came home from work.

“Just got some shit on my mind,” I told him, thinking about the date I had planned two weeks ago with a guy that I had met at the tire shop when I’d gone to get my tires rotated on my car. The date was coming up in three days, and I still hadn’t figured out a way to gently break the news to Ally.

I didn’t know how she was going to take it. I’d told her I would still see other people, but telling her and actually having it happen were two very different things.

Would she flip out, or would she just smile at me and tell me okay? It was so hard to figure out. She was currently having a high, her moods under control for now, and I was terrified of ruining that.

“Like what?” Christian asked me. I stayed silent. He sighed. “Caiden, don’t close me out, and don’t close her out.” I scowled. He knew me too damn well. “What in the hell is going on?”

“I have a date in three days,” I told him. I stopped talking so I could rinse my face. “I don’t know how Ally is going to take it when I tell her.”

“How long has this date been planned?” Christian asked.

I clenched my jaw, then forced it to relax. “Two weeks now,” I told him. I sighed. “I don’t know how to break this to her, Christian.”

“You follow your instincts, Caiden.” I glanced over at him. “You’ve always been good with her. Yeah, you’re a blunt asshole who works her nerves,” I smirked, “but you also know how to handle her when shit is getting bad. Just trust your heart; it’ll lead you.” He shrugged. “Besides, she knew from the very beginning that you’re bi. She also knows that you’re not going to stop dating men just because you’re in a committed relationship with her.” He narrowed his eyes at me. “But you need to make sure that the other person in your life, whoever he may end up being, understands that she is always your first priority.”

I rolled my eyes at him. “Like fuck is anyone being placed above her,” I told him.

He nodded once. “Good. That’s how it should be.” He looked at his smart watch and sighed. “Fuck. Axel just reminded me I have a meeting with his attorney after work.”

“For?” I asked. Christian wasn’t one to get in trouble.

He laughed at my face. “Caiden, don’t look so constipated.” I scowled at him, only serving to make him laugh harder. “It’s nothing bad. Axel is just making me a permanent partner at his clinic; that’s all.”

I grinned at him. “Congrats on it finally getting finalized, brother.”

He smiled. “Thanks, Caiden.” He looked toward our room through the living room before he looked back at me. “You’ll have time with her this evening. This is apparently going to be a while, and I won’t get home until late. So, break the news to her, and remind her of where she stands in your life—where she’ll always stand. When you go on your date, I’ll handle her. She’ll be okay. Our woman is a lot stronger than she seems.”

I nodded in agreement. That she was. But she was also so fragile at the same time.
