I feel an instant sense of relief hearing her words. I’d never wanted to come in a woman as I did with Abigail, but I’d been worried she wouldn’t want the same. Turns out I worried for nothing.

“Of course,” Abigail replies, nodding her head. She runs her hand slowly down my stomach to the place where my dick is nestled heavily against my left thigh. She wraps her fingers around my dick and squeezes gently, all the while looking deep into my eyes. “Why would I want to waste all of this?” she asks in a husky voice.

“Damn, woman,” I mumble throatily. I can feel myself growing hard all over again. “You’re going to be the death of me.”

She laughs. The tinkling sound of her laughter seems to wrap itself around me like a warm cloak, making me want to revel in the sound forever.

“So…,” Abigail drawls, trailing a finger up and down my hard length. “What do you say we go again?”

My cock throbs in anticipation. “Yeah? I….”

The phone starts to ring again, ruining the budding mood. I’d almost forgotten its existence.

“Seems you have to take that, Prez,” Abigail says with an amused chuckle. “You’ve been away for too long.”

I groan in exaggerated annoyance and lean over Abigail’s sexy naked body to snatch the phone off my bedside table. I plant a kiss on the luscious mound of Abigail’s left breast and lay on my back, the darned phone pressed against my ear.

“What the hell, Snake?” I ask gruffly.

“You need to come down here ASAP, Prez!”

I sit up quickly, alarmed by the urgency in Snake’s voice. “What’s going on?”

“There’s trouble, Prez,” Snake replies solemnly. “Big trouble.”

Pocus

I take in a deep, steadying breath, but it does nothing to abate my anger and growing frustration as I stare at Evanesce. She glares right back at me. Her arms folded stubbornly over her chest. Her chin is slightly tilted, which suggests she isn’t backing down easily. I don’t know which of the vexing situations to contend with; Evanesce’s sudden arrival at the clubhouse or the news of Knix’s disappearance. I decide to dwell on the former since it’s glaring at me right in the face.

“What the fuck do you think you are doing, Nesce?” I ask quietly. “I thought I was clear with my order; fucking stay in Vegas until I say otherwise!”

Evanesce flinches a little but stands her ground. “You can’t blame me, can you? I can’t reach Knix. It’s been two days. Something bad has happened. I can feel it!”

I rake a hand through my hair with a frustrated sigh. “I guess that feeling is enough reason to disobey my orders. But you will go to your room now and stay there.” I turn away from her, towards my men. “Gator? Gris? Stand guard.”

Evanesce’s eyes widen with realization. She gasps in disbelief. “What does that mean?”

“House arrest, darling,” I reply with a smirk. “You don’t think your actions are without consequences, do you?”

“You can’t do that, Pocus,” Evanesce sobs. “I have to look for Knix. Seer, tell him!”

She looks to Seer for help, but he shakes his head at her with an apologetic shrug. “I’m sorry, chérie, but you have to listen to Prez. It’s not safe for you out there.”

“I hate you both!” Evanesce snaps and storms toward her room. Gator and Gris immediately follow after her.

“What the fuck is going on?” I ask, turning to Snake with an inquisitive frown. “Where the hell is Knix?”

Snake shrugs helplessly. “He’s suddenly gone off the grid, Prez. I can’t seem to track him.”

“Fuck!” I mutter to myself. “Fuck! Fuck!”

“I should have seen this coming,” Seer says, lowering his head into his hand with a muttered curse.

I place a hand on Seer’s shoulder and give him a reassuring squeeze. “Don’t blame yourself, my friend,” I admonish quietly. “You don’t control the visions.” I take a deep breath and turn back towards Snake. “Snake? Where was Knix’s last location before he went AWOL?”

Snake’s fingers move rapidly on the keyboard for a few seconds. He pauses suddenly and looks up at me with an alarmed expression. “He... Knix’s last location was right outside Anderson Grey’s office building.”
