“What!” Rain hollered then looked at Sebastian. “Somebody had better tell me what in the hell is going on. This is that mob shit isn’t it? I told her ass to quit when that woman went missing.”

Sebastian winced. “Maybe we should get you some tea.”

“No!” Rain roared. “I need some goddamn answers. My baby is missing…ya’ll don’t even understand.”

My heart clenched in my chest. No one understood in this moment better than I did what it meant for Nora to be missing. I was forcing myself to not vomit at the thought of Tobias putting his hands on her.

We will peel his skin and wear it as a trophy. I swear it on Nora’s life,my Corsican had returned to the game. He was angry and he wanted to kill Tobias.

Agreed, but remain calm,I thought.

“Rain, I want to be as upfront as possible,” I said stepping forward.

Her eyes were glassy, and her hair just a little wild. She was upset and rightfully so. She was trying to keep in control of her actions. Rain was pacing to the point, the dark blue carpet in Sebastian’s war room was about to have a hole in it.

“Then be upfront,” she said, her pacing stopped as she drew herself up to her full height.

Nora and her sister looked a lot like. Both beautiful, both with honey toned skin. Rain however had a look about her. I knew that she would try to murder me with her bare hands over her sister. She was a wild card, whereas her sister was a little more predictable. Even in a room full of men who knew the dark side of life, this woman dressed in a Halloween costume with a deeply planted scowl on her face was making me nervous.

My palms felt itchy under her scrutiny.

“The man that took her, he’s the Rosary killer…”

Rain threw her hands up in the air and exclaimed. “What in the hell is going on around here?”

Brie finally came in and got Rain to have some tea. She went with Brie even though I could tell she didn’t want to. The two women were probably about to bond over a few things. I, on the other hand went into mission planning mode.

Carmine stepped up with the schematics. He pulled them up on his phone and I analyzed them. The Seattle Hellfire club had the exact same dimensions as the one sitting in Italy.

“It’s suicide to go in there alone,” Sebastian remarked.

I nodded. “I’m never alone.”

He didn’t know much about Corsicans. He’d never asked and I had never volunteered. What was left of our kind, always served a master of some kind. Sebastian just knew that I would die to keep him and his family safe. He paid me to do that.

My brothers and I geared up. I had a weapons cache that I kept at the DeLuca compound. They chose weapons that they wanted and I went for the usual Glock. Not that I planned on using it.

Tobias had touched my woman and I was going to shred his body with my bare hands.

Speeding through Seattle in Carmine’s blacked out SUV, we ran several red lights. I noted that my two brothers were in the zone. They didn’t have to come. I hadn’t even bothered to ask them. It was just an unspoken thing that had passed between us.

Tapping my phone, I read the time. Midnight was fast approaching, and the pulsing at the base of my skull was building into a dizzying tempo.

When we have her back, we fuck her and we get her pregnant,he grumbled.

I get it,I said.

This is your fault, the Corsican growled loudly.

I get it,I repeated.

You don’t,he stated.Nora belongs to us. We have allowed harm to come to her.

Sighing, I no longer wanted to argue with the dark passenger occupying my brain. Once upon a time, when I had first learned what was within us, I had wanted it out. Now, I was happy to have his company because Nora depended on us.

We pulled up to the Hellfire Club, two minutes from midnight. A helicopter was landing on the roof and that was when I saw them.

My father and Gisella.
