“But the trailer’s attached,” Waverly pointed out.

“So what? Gotta learn to drive with one of those, too. For when the furniture is too nice to be in the bed of the truck,” Duke said.

“You are the best brother-in-law ever!” Waverly stated, jumping toward Duke and embracing him in a side hug.

“Keep an eye on her,” Duke said to Savage. “I’m taking Willa inside to change and then we’re going to get on the road.”

“The clubhouse is quiet,” I said as we headed to Duke’s room.

“You didn’t want a party, did you?”

“No. It was the right call, having the wedding be small and intimate.” I presented him my back.

He closed the door and then unzipped my dress. I stepped out of the gown and placed it on Duke’s bed.

“You’ve got to stop,” I said.

“Stop what?”

“Stop spending money like you’ve got it to burn.” I turned to face him. “You bought us a house. You paid for a wedding, and now a honeymoon and a truck for Waverly. It’s a lot.”

He sauntered toward me and placed his hands on my hips. “I can’t believe you’re trying to have a normal conversation with me while you’re wearing garter belts and biker boots.”

“What can I say, I’m a woman with many sides.” I grasped the lapels of his leather cut. “Seriously, Duke. Level with me.”

“We’re technically on our honeymoon, and you want to talk about important shit?” His slipped his hand between my legs.

I hissed and clamped my thighs shut. “I know you’re trying to distract me with sex, and normally it would work, but…”

With a sigh, he removed his hand. “The house I got a good deal on, so don’t worry about that. The wedding wasn’t expensive because you didn’t want a big fancy thing—but if you had—I’d have paid for that too. As for the truck, it belonged to Mia, and Colt hates it when she drives it, so she sold it to me for a very reasonable price.”

We stared at one another and then I said, “I’m not stupid. I know how you make your money. I just didn’t know howmuchyou were making.”

“I make enough to take care of you, Waverly, Sailor, and however many kids you feel inclined to have. You don’t have to worry, and you never will. I promise you that.”

“Okay.” I nodded. “I won’t worry.”

“Now turn around and hold onto the dresser like a good girl and let me fuck you again.”

Two hours later, Duke reached over and took my hand in his. “They’ll be fine.”

“I know,” I said absently. “But I still worry.”

He briefly took his eyes off the road to glance at me. “What has you worried? Sailor and Waverly are crashing with Darcy and Gray. It’ll be hard to get into trouble with Lily and Cam close by.”

“But teenagers are teenagers. Remember us when we were teenagers? We found a way to get into trouble all the time.”

“We had no parental supervision, it was different,” he pointed out.

“What if they get kidnapped?” I blurted out.

“Acid and Savage are training them.”

“Training them? What do you meantrainingthem? Training them how?”

“Training them on how to get out of…situations…if they should arise. Teaching them how to be alert, what to look out for. And…”

“And…?”
