The Reading Nook
Amos Montgomery.An Englishman who had lived in Rapid City for forty years. He has a daughter Sinclair. He died when he was fifty, which brought Sin to his shop to run it. His shop is called Reading Nook. Amos wasn’t very sociable, and Sin was the same as her dad. They were very close, Amos wanting the best for Sin and his surrogate son Reid.
Penny.Is a cook and server at Reading Nook. She loves cooking and makes everything from scratch. She has a warm and caring attitude to her.
Andy. Andy is a computer wiz hired by Reid to set up the networking and laptops in the Reading Nook. He also developed the website and the data packages for the shop. Andy runs the computer side of the business. Andy also runs the StudentZone.
Reid Hershley.Reid went to Oxford with Sin and studied literacy and archaeology. He has beautifully chiselled features. Shaggy blond hair, he’s lean and rangy and works out at a gym, so he has well-defined muscles. Wears round glasses. He was loosely adopted by Amos Montgomery and thinks of Sin as a sister. Reid is well known in his field and quit England to move to Rapid City with Sin. He was disowned by his family for going to University.
Celine.Shop-girl.
Zoe.Has large blue eyes and is a shop-girl.
Henry.Short for Henrietta. Henry is a barista.
Mr Rouse. A pushy buyer for the Lady Downing papers, he attacks Sin over them.
Mr Earl Kenna.Runs’ a cold case club and interrupts the attack on Sin.
Finally…
James Washington.We find out James is Gunner’s older brother. He appears when Gunner is shot. He claims Santos is going to war with rage and himself. James skirts the illegal side of life and is someone Santos fears.
