Heat flared in his gaze, and he thrust hard against my clit one more time before notching himself at my entrance, where I was wet and ready for him. With a powerful thrust, he filled me, burying himself to the hilt.

A cry exploded from me at his forceful thrust, the pain edging with the pleasure. A satisfied groan pulled from his chest, and his mouth claimed mine in a brutal, domineering kiss. Matthias moved hard and fast against me. His pace was relentless as he fucked me hard and dirty, like an animal on the rut. I had no control, and I simply let myself be devoured by my protector. My lover. My husband. The man I’d spend the rest of my life living for and dying for, if it came down to it.

My body quaked and trembled beneath him, with every thrust sending me toward oblivion. Cries and moans spilled from my lips and echoed around us, bouncing off the tiled wall. My hands dug into his hair, holding on for dear life as he continued his brutal pace.

“God,” I whimpered into his neck. My lips caressed the skin down to the juncture of where his neck met his shoulder, and I bit down. Hard. Matthias groaned loudly, his hips stuttering slightly before he picked up his already rapid pace.

My body strained for release, my hips bucking up to meet his thrusts.

“Come,Krasnyy,” he ordered, his voice rough and gravelly. “Come on your husband’s cock.” My body obeyed, and I unraveled faster than a bullet train. I buried my head in the crook of his neck as I came apart around him. The ecstasy that seized me was overpowering, and I was nothing but a slave to its will.

I couldn’t breathe. I couldn’t think.

There was nothing except the galaxy of pure, unadulterated pleasure washing through me.

“Ava,” Matthias hissed through clenched teeth. “So, fucking tight, baby. So, fucking hot.” His body jerked, and he pushed farther inside me. With a long, satisfied groan, Matthias’s release hit him, triggering another one of my own. A sob spilled from my lips even as he slowed his pace as I crested again, this one shorter but just as strong, and I felt slightly lost from reality.

I could hear the water shutting off somewhere in the distance and feel movement beneath me.

“Such a good girl,” Matthias whispered in my ear. “Always such a good girl for me.”

My eyes fluttered as I was cocooned in warmth. “Your good girl,” I whispered, unable to keep my eyes open any longer. Strong arms came around me, anchoring me to a strong, broad chest.

“That’s right,” he chuckled lowly. “Sleep now, my good girl.”

My body obeyed his command, just like it always did.

CHAPTERTWENTY-SEVEN

We had slept most of the day away. It was dinnertime before we found ourselves downstairs, still utterly exhausted.

I may have woken her up a few times with my head between her thighs.

“What do you mean you can’t find them?” I growled at Mark and Bridget. We were sitting at the family dining room table going over everything we had learned and collected. My father had managed to find some documents at the McDonough mansion that helped to piece together some of the puzzle, but it also opened up a lot more questions.

“I mean, one minute we had a location on them, and the next, they were gone.”

“Gone?”

“Yeah.” He stared at me like I was an idiot speaking Chinese. “You know, gone? Poof? Adios? Not to be found?”

“Your body won’t be found if you don’t quit,” I growled.

Mark blew out between his lips. “I thought sex was supposed to give you endorphins and make you happy.”

Everyone but Liam and me roared with laughter. Not even my glare could silence them. Fuckers.

“As you were saying, Mark,” Liam drawled. The hacker snickered before clicking something on his tablet. The portable projector he brought came to life, emitting a soft light over the blank cream wall just ahead of me.

“We sent Dima to the airstrip because that was where chatter said they were going to be,” Mark explained. “It was supposed to be a foolproof plan.”

“Except,” Dima butted in, “the only people there were their guards.”

“But no Remus or Sheila.” Mark tapped his screen again to show video footage of Sheila and Remus getting into the exact car that Dima had ambushed at the hangar.

“Was it a decoy?” Andrei wondered. “Maybe they knew you would be monitoring them.”

I shrugged. “That is a possibility.”
