“This is a bad, badidea,” I told him a little breathlessly.

His eyes seemed to gleam with an answer of, “but it’ll feel so, sogood.”

Call me easy, but when his tail slithered around my waist beneath the water and began to reel me closer to him while simultaneously tickling the edge of my bikini bottoms with all kinds of dark promises, I caved.

I caved so fucking fast.

Chapter7

JUNE

Drogann hadme braced against the pool’s edge, my legs wrapped around his waist and my hands clawing at his shoulders in a matter of seconds.

Dizzy from how fast he moved and the weight andheftof him between my thighs, I could only suck in air as if I were about to be pulled underwater.

When he flicked his tongue out to trace the length of my neck, I lost the ability to breathe altogether.

It wastextured.

His tongue had a roughness about it that elicited all kinds of dirty thoughts.

What would that feel like between my thighs?

Oh shit, I was going to come, and we hadn’t even gotten to the good stuff yet.

A noise above my head abruptly pulled me from the moment, and I stiffened against him, sliding my eyes to the side.

The two guards were staring…like,staring.

They had no shame in their game as they watched Drogann palming my ass and rocking his hips against mine.

Thankfully, he noticed my stillness and stopped, a low rumbling vibration echoing from him in a warning. Both guards glanced away immediately, but now that I was reminded they were there, I couldn’t forget them.

I started to squirm, uncomfortable in his arms yet still so fucking turned on that I was aching.

Frustrated at them and myself and even Drogann, I scowled.

He said something to them, gesturing with his chin, and they stiffened.

One said something back, a question lingering at the end of the words.

Drogann barked something back, and the two guards shared a heavy, nervous glance. He hissed at them, and their shoulders crept up to their pointed ears.

With a few wary glances around the empty space, the guardsleft.

I gaped at their retreating backs. I couldn’t believe they’d just left us alone.

I mean, I’d seen almost everyone obey Drogann regardless of the shackles on his wrists, but he seemed to have at least one guard at all times.

There’d even been one standing outside his cell.

“Something fishy is going on here,” I murmured to myself. I was starting to accept that Drogann wasn’t a prisoner.

He certainly wasn’t treated like one, but the shackles and the chains confused me.

Why keep him locked up if you were going to let him order you around?

How did he even get the power to issue orders?
