Shaking my head, I try to hold back a laugh. It doesn't work. "Well fucking thanks, I guess," I grumble.

Having a few extra guys in my corner isn't a bad thing. It's always been me and Issac against the world. I can't lie, though, it's not a bad feeling having Kitten's guys as back-up.

"Ready?" Rook asks.

I nod, and we follow Griffin out.

Kitten and Baby are sitting on two tall bar stools, their heads tipped together as they talk and grin at each other. Issac and Lachlan pop out, already wearing their guitars, and Kitten winks at me. She gives me a thumbs up, but Baby startles when she sees us holding microphones.

We only did this song twice; luckily I knew the lyrics ahead of time. Honestly, my voice is a better match for Lachlan. Issac could go up against Rooker Jacobs and not sound like a fool, but fuck it.

Rook swore he'd harmonize with me.

"May I have this dance?" I ask, stepping up to Baby and offering her a hand. Rook does the same with Kitten.

"The correct answer is sure, why the fuck not?" Lachlan calls out, laughing.

Kitten giggles hysterically, jumping into Rook's arms. Baby nods, and I help her down, yanking her into my chest.

"We've decided you don't even need these," Jamen says, coming up and grabbing the mics. "That way you've got both hands free."

Issac and Lachlan strum away, starting the intro. X Ambassadors "Blinding Lights" is the song we agreed on. It's not a sure thing, but we've had a decent amount of practice vibing with Ruin.

Lachlan and Issac master the song like they've been playing together for years.

Rook nods to me to start our countdown. Baby stares up at me, biting her plush lower lip. We bust in on the first verse and Saint catcalls. My hand grips Baby's ass as I yank her into me, staring into her eyes as I serenade the fuck out of her.

On the second verse we twirl the girls and I grab Kitten. "Thank you," I mouth in between my lines.

Kitten just squeezes me tight. Leaning up, she kisses my cheek. I'm back to singing, but I'm pretty sure she whispers the same pep-talk the guys have all given me.

We continue to sing.

I see Rook whisper something to Baby.

She laughs.

We twirl our partners back. Baby grins up at me, shaking her head. Her eyes are glazed, and she looks a bit like she might cry. I barely dip her backward as we finish our last verse then kiss the hell out of her. The room erupts in cheers as I grin down at her.

"I know you probably want to get comfy, but would you talk to me out on the patio for a minute?" I ask, clearing my throat.

Baby blinks up at me from behind dark lashes. Her gorgeous blue eyes are almost too big for her face sometimes.

She nods. "Yeah, of course."

Sliding the table and chairs back, I toss down my phone.

"Dance with me one last song?" I ask, swallowing thickly. It feels like I've been gargling with rocks.

Baby licks her lips, tilting her face to study mine.

She nods. Her giant baby bump brushes against my stomach as I cradle her to my chest. The lights of the Strip glimmer in the background.

I put on "Back to Life" by Jonny Craig and Tilian Pearson.

Baby's breath catches as she rests her face against my chest. Her fingers brush over my neck as we sway. She bites her lip, watching me carefully.

I have to lean down quite a bit to brush my lips over her cheek.
