Dexter feels downright destructive in the bond. He and Pops hit a meeting, and even though they aren't close by, his chaotic energy is spilling over into me. I glance up at Jude. We're sitting side by side in the hotel bed. I'm nursing Bellamy and trying to figure out how to broach this conversation with Jude. I'm pretty sure Dexter is going to need both of us in a big way.

Issac and Vince have Declan. Pops and Declan will be sharing a room tonight. Issac recommended he and Vince keep Bellamy in the other. It's pretty clear Dexter is going to need us.

Jude and Dex have always been affectionate, but I was relieved as hell when they finally admitted their feelings for one another. It's been a long time coming, that's for sure.

"Lyric is calling me," Jude says, frowning as he pulls his phone from his pocket. He answers, and it's a video call.

"Jesus, Love," Storm grumbles. "Always with your tits out."

"Tit singular," Kitten says, chuckling. She and Storm fill the screen, and Jude tilts the camera, so it only picks up our faces.

"Sorry." I shrug. "She's got to eat."

"How's Dexter?" Kitten asks.

I bite my lip, shaking my head. He's a mess in the bond. He's got a lot to process through, that's for sure. And I'm so worried about him that my heart throbs with a painful ache.

"Are you a Dom, Walker?" Kitten asks, staring at him with an expectant look.

"What?" Jude sputters.

I snort. Leave it to Kitten to come out of left field.

"Shorty," Storm growls, rolling his gray eyes.

"Are you a Dom?" Kitten asks again like if she only repeats the question, it might make better sense. "Dexter is trying to succeed. Last time we all made a concerted effort to help him. Saint topped him when necessary. Love, Issac, and I tried our best to give him the pain he needed to feel better. This is a family, dammit. You do what you need to—"

Storm gently slaps a hand over her mouth.

Kitten frowns at him, slapping his hand away.

"I'm right fucking here," Dexter says, sauntering over. I never even noticed the door open. I guess he was closer to the hotel than I thought. "Discussing me without me around?"

"Where is he?" Kitten asks. "You know we love you, Dexter. Whatever you need to be okay, we'll figure it out together as a family. The same way you helped me. Can you point me to him, Walker?"

Dexter snorts. He climbs into the bed beside me, wrapping his arm around my back. "Hey, Kitten."

Kitten fidgets. "You should be taken care of by someone who cares about you, and we all want you to succeed. Trust me; I get it because I need a good spanking too when I get—"

Storm again slaps a hand over her mouth. Dex and I laugh. Jude's mouth is hanging open, and he's looking a little shell-shocked.

"So you're not?" Storm asks, glancing at Jude.

"Grandma is very bossy when he needs to be," Dexter says, pulling Jude to him for a quick kiss that happens right in front of my face. I'm still nursing Bells, but she's out. I pull her off my breast as they pull back. "What he's not is a sadist. Neither of them are."

"The three of you talk it out. I'm willing to give you lessons," Storm says to me and Jude. "Or I'm good to do the topping. Ryder's locked down with Callan. Whatever helps you cope, we're all here for you. There's no shame in it."

I glance at Dexter, who frowns.

"I should have taken those lessons from St. James years ago," I whisper, burping Bellamy. "I'm sorry… I'll try."

"No," Dexter says, shaking his head. "I'll be fine."

"If you need to be topped, you come find me. No questions asked. All right?" Storm says to Dexter. "It's an open-ended invitation. No time limits or strings. It doesn't even need to be a sexual thing."

"I'd like to do some research before you agree to that," Jude speaks like he finally remembered he could.

"Of course," Storm agrees easily.
