"Movie time?" Dexter asks, stretching out beside me. "There's that new haunted house movie and it looks like it doesn't suck."

"Oh shit," Jude says, leaning forward. "The one from the same producer as those exorcist movies? My sister said it's good."

"We're leaving in the morning," Vince grumbles. "I hate this hopping from city to city shit."

It's not my favorite either. The guys agreed to do the mini-tour because it's a very important cause. Matted Whine never would have had such mind-boggling success without Lyric's help. All of the proceeds from the tour go to a charity she's been dreaming about setting up for years. It's a worthy reason, so it's hard to complain, but damn I didn't miss traveling.

"This is nothing," Dex snorts. "Usually we're on a bus and in a new city every damn day."

Vince grimaces. "No fucking way."

Dex pouts. "It's not even late yet."

"I'm down," I say, stretching out next to Dexter. "Let's do this."

My feet are dangerously close to resting on Dex. Back in the day he used to rub my feet while we binge-watched movies. I wonder if I wiggle my toes like I used to…

Dex pulls my feet into his lap. I groan at the feeling of his thumb digging into my arch.

Two sets of eyes turn our way.

Jude clears his throat. "I'll just toss this," he says, gesturing to the table. "It's all trash, right?"

I nod. Vince waves a hand through the air and heads off toward the room he's sharing with Jude.

"Are you going to hold me all night if it's scary?" Dex asks, smirking over at me.

"I'm sure Marcus could use a cuddle buddy," I say, winking at him. "I'm assuming our agreement still stands?"

I refer to our deal that if a movie scares the other person then wehaveto be there to provide moral support.

"It does," Dex says, biting his bottom lip.

"We'll, then, of course." I roll my eyes. "I never back out of a deal."

"Can I—" Jude glances between the couch and the chairs that don't have a good view of the television at all. "Scoot in somewhere? Or I can sit on the floor."

"You can hold me," Dex says, winking.

I laugh. Dex offers me a hand, pulling me toward the middle of the large couch.

"You're probably going to have me all up on you," I warn.

Dex laughs. "I doubt he minds."

"It's no problem," Jude says, sliding onto the couch cushion. "All right, you can let her go."

"Yeah, that's never going to happen," Dex says, glaring. "But since it's probably really scary, I'll share my movie buddy with you."

I stretch back until I'm leaning all on Jude. My neck falls into the crook of his shoulder, and I'm wedged against his side.

Dex shrugs. He tosses his legs toward me and Jude on the couch and pulls my legs over his.

"Your feet are going to be very close to my dick," Dex says, chuckling. "Try not to fuck me up during the jump scares."

"You're braver than me," Jude says, laughing.

"Baby is hardcore," Dex says.
