"If that happens," Dexter whispers, "you fucking have to let me watch." He gives her a serious look then winks.

Dexter's ocean water and salt scent fills my nostrils, blending with Love's light cottony fresh scent. My stomach flip-flops.

Dex smirks, resting his head on my shoulder.

I shake my head. Like Love isn't a confusing enough subject. Of course Dexter has to be added to the mix.

He's like a hyper puppy. It makes me want to take care of him, too.

I'm sleepy and confused when I wake up. It's hot as hell. I try to roll over, but I'm trapped on both sides. Love's scent hits my nose at the same time I pick up Dexter's.

Love is plastered to one side of my chest and Dex is curled up in the fetal position on the other side. His knees dig into my damn hip.

"Found 'em," Riggs says softly as he leans over the bed.

Issac chuckles. "Told you. Dexter is even more afraid of scary shit than Love."

Dex sticks a hand up, flipping off Issac, who laughs louder for it.

"Sorry, man. Don't be weak. Then I won't have to call you out on it," Issac whispers. "You coming?"

Dex nods, climbing out of bed. Issac scoops up Love and totes her back toward the room they're staying in.

My pillow smells like Love. I roll over, shoving my face in it and inhaling.

"Rock stars are so fucking weird," Riggs grumbles, stripping out of his sweaty t-shirt and pulling on a new one. It was clear from their scent they were at the gym in the hotel, working out. He climbs into the other bed and laughs. "Issac truly does not seem to mind sharing. He also doesn't give a shit that Dex fucks around and it hurts McKinley."

I sigh, burying my head in the pillow. "That is not something we should get involved in."

"Let's get some sleep. Fuck, I can't wait to get back to Florida," Riggs grumbles. "I hate traveling."

I laugh. He's so unbelievably damn high maintenance sometimes. He's turning into a grumpy old man in his elder years. We're flying back on a private freaking jet, and I guarantee he'll still find something to bitch and complain about.

Chapter Fourteen

Issac Matthews

"Did I mention I hate traveling?" Riggs grumbles.

"Me too," Love murmurs.

"It was a private jet." Dex laughs from his spot in the very back of the SUV. "Riggsy, you're a worse traveler than the pregnant chick. How does that make you feel?"

Riggs is next to Love in the middle row. He spins around to glare at Dexter.

"I'm beat," Love mumbles, leaning over into Riggs' personal space. "Will you carry me to the elevator?"

"Iwill," Walker offers as he pulls into the parking garage. That man has no chill when it comes to Love, and I'm strangely here for it. With the games Dexter's been playing and the way Riggs is dragging his feet? She needs someone who's transparent with their feelings.

I blow out a relieved breath as Walker parks. I'm so fucking ready to settle in, smoke a damn blunt, and not have to worry about being in a new city in a few days.

"Shocker," Dexter adds.

I snort. We've all been dancing around this for a while. Eventually one of them is going to have to own up to their interest or I'm going to put a stop to this shit.

Love is tough for a chick, but she's also pregnant. And I won't have these assholes playing games with her heart.

It's very simple to have a conversation about where your head is at. I don't control Love, but I am her primary partner until Dexter gets his head out of his ass. He's causing Love enough heartache.
