Raymond smiled at me through the mirror. “The estate sits on three hundred acres.”

“Holy shit!”

Raymond chuckled. “Mr. Asher is a fortunate man to have the money and means to own such an establishment. I have no doubt you’ll love every moment of your time here…should you stay.”

As we drove up to the house, we passed perfectly trimmed hedges, bushes, all the fancy foliage stuff. There was a fountain in the center bigger than a hotel pool. Not rare in Vegas, but here? It was crazy and I loved it.

“Just a moment,” Raymond said and exited the limo. I watched as he walked around the car toward a man standing on the steps.

He wasn’t Ben Asher, but he was adorable with his perfectly in place brown hair and green eyes. He kept pushing his glasses up as Raymond spoke to him and I figured he must be Dane, the man who set up this interview.

Finally, Raymond came over and opened my door, but it was the brunet man who greeted me.

“Welcome, Mr. Riley. My name is Dane Nelson, Mr. Asher’s Personal Assistant.” He held his hand out which I shook once I was out of the car.

“Great to meet you.”

“Raymond will bring your bag to your room. Regardless of how this goes today, you’re welcome to stay the evening as I said earlier.”

I smiled so wide my cheeks hurt. “I’m feeling pretty confident.”

“Great, follow me then. Did you want to freshen up before lunch with Mr. Asher?”

Knowing I’d been on a plane, I wanted to make sure I was put together, so I took Dane up on the offer and he led me through an insanely elegant foyer to a bathroom.

“I’ll wait for you in the foyer and bring you to the conservatory for lunch.”

I chuckled as I went into the bathroom. Conservatory. Damn, only time I ever heard that was when I was playing Clue.

I didn’t want to keep anyone waiting so after I emptied my bladder and washed up, I went to meet Dane in the foyer. He smiled, warm and reassuring, and instructed me to follow him.

When he opened the double doors to the conservatory, my gaze went to the ceiling. All glass, as were the walls. Where I was sure it should be hot since it had the appearance of a lavish greenhouse, it was comfortable. And it was obvious the glass was tempered.

“Mr. Riley, will you be gawking at everything much longer, or could we proceed with this interview?”

When I turned there was the sexy man himself. I noticed the crease between his brows and a stern expression, emanating power and money. Good thing I had self-control because I would have dropped to my knees and let him feed me his dick for lunch if he wanted.

“My apologies, but this is a gorgeous room.”

His gaze merely flickered over the conservatory before meeting mine again. “It is. Shall we?” He gestured over to a table and two chairs. It appeared lunch was waiting for us.

“Do you have any food allergies, Mr. Riley?” Ben sat in his seat, immediately draping a white linen napkin across his lap.

“No, thanks for asking.” I mirrored his actions.

“Very good.”

Two people dressed in suits entered, placing a dish in front of Ben and another in front of me. When the dome was lifted, the steamy scent of spices and chicken wafted over my face.

“It’s a simple dish, chicken, rice, and vegetables,” Ben said as he took his fork in hand. “Now, tell me about yourself, Mr. Riley?”

“Sure. I’m one of three kids, raised by a single mom—”

“No.”

My head snapped back at the sharpness of his tone. “No?”

“We’re not speed dating, Mr. Riley. I’m asking about you as an escort. You are aware this is an interview, are you not?”
