She started to retort but bit back another moan instead as he started twisting her nipples with his fingers. Pain and pleasure blended with each other as he continued playing with her nipples, and she squeezed her eyes shut so he wouldn’t see how much his touch affected her.

“Jerk,” she gasped out.

Leandro only laughed. “Come on, Bobby. Be true to yourself. You’ve never been a liar.” Before she could answer, he had already bent his head and was hungrily sucking her nipple again while his other hand continued playing with her breast.

She tried pulling his head away, gripping his hair, but he retaliated by sucking so hard and then biting her nipple that Bobby ended up releasing a long, pleasure-loaded moan.

“Say the word, Bobby,” he whispered between tiny bites of her nipple. “Say it.”

Her fingers gripped his hair, but now she could no longer find the strength to use it to pull his head away from her nipple.

“Say it.”

The velvety invitation in his words worked like seductive magic, tempting her to forget even just for today the fact that he was the person who had ruined her life.

Leandro looked up, and lust blazed in his eyes. “Say it.” He punctuated the words with hard squeezes of her breasts.

She cried out, “Kópanos.” By saying it, she knew she had surrendered to him. By saying it, she wasn’t just admitting he was a jerk. She was also admitting that he was the jerk who still had a claim over her even after everything that had happened in the past.

Bobby waited for a triumphant expression to fall on Leandro’s gorgeous face, but instead he looked...

She bit her lip hard, which was again trembling at the riotous emotions warring inside her.

Leandro Christopoulos looked humbled.

“I love you, mégaira.”

The look in his eyes made her want to cry. He loved her. He really loved her, and he was willing to lay everything down at her feet for a chance to make her believe it.

She knew what he wanted to hear, but she just couldn’t say it. Pain flickered in his expression when he realized that she was not going to say anything.

He said hoarsely, “Bobby—-”

She shook her head. She didn’t want to talk. She was too afraid to talk. So instead, she wrapped her arms around his neck and drew his lips down for a kiss. “Take me,” she whispered.
