He knocks back his whiskey, then answers, "Your husband has a reputation."

I let his statement sink in, then I clear my throat, asking, "How is that possible?"

"What do you mean?" he asks.

"How are you part of the club? You're gay."

"So?"

"I've never seen any gay men there."

"You've never seen a male Dom and male sub?"

I shake my head, then stop. "There was one incident on stage where there was a male Dom with three subs. Two were men, but they focused on the woman."

"Then they're bi," he claims.

"How do you know?" I ask.

He reveals, "Male Doms only take male subs if all parties are into each other. Trust me on this. And I assume you've seen the lesbians?" he questions.

"No. Well, I saw some activities, but they were subs. Their Doms made them."

He chuckles. "Is that what you really believe?"

"What do you mean?"

He smirks. "Honey, if subs are doing things with others of the same sex, they're either gay or bi-sexual. Did you forget that the subs agree to everything?"

I ponder his statement, then point out, "My contract said it was at Riggs's discretion if he decided to bring someone else into our activities."

Colton waves his hand in front of me. "They all say that. You have a safe word. It's meant to be utilized if you aren't okay with anything. Or do you not understand what it means?"

"Of course I understand," I claim.

"If a sub isn't comfortable with same-sex activities, they'll say their safe word." He leans closer. "Would you use the safe word if Riggs wanted you to get with a woman?"

I don't hesitate. "Yes. No judgment, but I'm not into females."

"There's your answer," he claims, then clinks my flute with his tumbler.

I take another sip of champagne, then question, "But why haven't I seen any gay men? I assume you aren't the only one."

He squints, assessing me.

"What?"

"You haven't seen the entire club, have you?"

I shrug. "I guess not. I've only been there a few times."

He reveals, "There are three areas. One for heterosexual activities only. Those are the real prudes. Then there's the section for the Dom's who are okay with women on women. The third area, well, that's where the magic happens."

I question, "Why is that?"

He winks. "Anything happens there. My people can live it up."

"Oh." I let it sink in, then say, "It sounds like segregation and unfair."
