"Assume your position," Papi calls out, pulling me back into reality.

Papi crosses his arms. "Apologize to Riggs and assure him you understand the rules."

"She'll obey. She's good at following most rules. She has a problem with stopping, but hopefully, she learned her lesson," Papi assures me.
I take several deep breaths, still wanting to unlatch Blakely and run out of this room.
