I’ve been calling her princess as a stand-in until I decide on who she will be for me. One of my greatest pleasures as a Dom has been giving a sub the name she’ll answer to when she’s serving me. Seeing their eyes light up, knowing I put a lot of thought into their names, skimming through choices of what might fit them the best according to who they truly are as a submissive, their reactions are always like I’ve handed them a physical gift, something special and meaningful—which is exactly what it is. In return, I’ve always enjoyed the names they’ve come up with for me as well. Yes, they’re commanded to use the respectful moniker of Sir when speaking to me, but I don’t demand them to use it in place of a name when referring to me. A lot of the Doms at the club came up with their own Dominant name, which is what I also did for simplicity sake while I’m there. But between my sub and me, who I am to her and her alone, she gets the honor of giving me that same gift—a name. Because as most everyone knows, names hold power.

Sienna:

Hm, a discovery just occurred, Sir. Apparently, I'm one of those who gets emotional and choked up when I'm told things like that. Who knew. ??

A feeling I’m unfamiliar with makes my chest hurt at her response to me telling her I’ll help her through everything.

Sienna:

Panicky? Yes, Sir. Make jokes at inappropriate times to redirect anxiety? Most definitely, Sir. People pleaser to a fault with no care given whether it hurts me or not? Oh, you betcha, Sir. It's why I have no friends. They got what they needed me for and ditched me once they used me for "clout," or whatever the kids call it these days. But weepy and choked up? Fuck no, Sir. I only do that when dogs die in movies. Cry? After being married to a Sadist discovering who he truly is and allowing him to use me, because I thought that’s what I was supposed to do as his wife and sub, I don't do that, Sir. Soooo... that's interesting.

But before your hackles rise, Art never actually HURT-hurt me. I would grin and bear it until I couldn’t anymore, then use my safeword. And he’d always, ALWAYS respect it. Since the female body sometimes has an instinctive reaction that someone on the outside would view as pleasure, I don’t blame him one bit for continuing until I tapped out. A Dom has to be able to trust his sub to tell him when something is wrong. Y’all are not mind readers.

Even though sometimes it seems like YOU are, Sir.

RomanticSadist:

Dogs… loyal to a fault and deserve the best and all your tears.

Jokes? Learned coping mechanism.

People pleaser? GOLDEN. What a Dom yearns for in a sub.

The people who used you THINK they won and are CLUELESS to the treasure they threw away and left behind.

And OF COURSE physical pain means little to you. You suffer such mental anguish that nothing physical can touch it.

She reads everything immediately, but there’s nothing to indicate she’s even typing for quite some time. I fight the urge to prompt a response, allowing her the time to process instead.

Sienna:

Oh... kay. I.... Yes, Sir.

I nod with pride, the emotion filling my chest and shoving that previous painful feeling out.

RomanticSadist:

Good call. Not everything needs a response, sweetheart. I talk a lot and often state my opinion as if it's fact. I might learn to control it if I weren’t right most of the time.

But I must admit, it saddens me that someone having your back chokes you up.

I confess that to her, since she’s been so freely sharing insight into her feelings. I seldom feel that emotion strongly—any emotion, really—that something in me wants to let her in on the fact that she made my chest ache for her.

Sienna:

I was just caught off guard that anyone could "get" me like that, Sir.

Trying to put on a brave face. She still fears she’s “too much” and doesn’t want to turn me off with how deeply she feels things. Only time will convince her that’s one of her most attractive traits, in my opinion. It takes someone like her—sensitive, empathetic, deeply emotional even though she’s learned to hide it—to be able to submerse themselves in the skills I’ve learned and naturally always had, to the point they lose themselves to the pleasure and reach a level of bliss so few can.

RomanticSadist:

I see you, princess. Deep inside. I can see.

I silence my phone, leaving her on that comforting note, because she needs to work. If I hear her notifications, I won’t be able to resist checking them. And to be sure I don’t physically check my phone to see if she’s messaged me, I leave it on my charger in my bedroom after setting an alarm for the time I gave her, then stride into the attached bathroom to take a shower.
