“You want to talk over a cuddle session with the snakes?”

It was silent for a while before there was a small squeal. Never met a chick so happy to smother my boys with some quality time.

“Really? You let me play with them?”

“I didn’t mean I have two dicks or anything. Don’t get all kinds of excited.”

Dita snorted. “You’re incorrigible.” She stood up and caught my elbow. “Do I need to watch out for any party favors?”

As in ultra-ribbed-for-her-pleasure, Tutti-Frutti-flavored Trojan Magnums? No ma’am. The only action I got since her arrival was mainly in my wet dreams.

“Cleared it out like Moses shaped the path through the Red Sea.”

“I really hope that wasn’t an innuendo.” Her hand clasped strongly around my bicep. “But sure, lead me to the gates of fire.”

ARES

Having Dita settled on my bed in a position I’d never thought she’d be—nothing the Kamasutra prescribed—I quickly swapped my jeans for sweat pants and went over to the reptiles.

“Where did you find your love for snakes?”

Dita actually showed interest. Not many did. Phobias and stuff.

“Once in a while, snakes found their way to our grandfather’s lawn. They got their heads chopped off. With a blunt spade.”

“Oh, wow.” She pulled the corners of her mouth down. To my satisfaction, she seemed displeased how my grandfather went about killing these animals.

“Yeah. I started rebelling against it.”

She fake-gasped. “Shocker.”

“Shut it, D.”

She smiled brightly. I turned around, hiding the grin on my face.

“I got my love for snakes from my uncle. He and Paul, a coworker, are the ones who taught me everything.”

Reaching out to my fellow, Ace came willingly, and I settled him on Dita’s thick Latina thighs like a good lap dog—no surprise there, he did what any other would do. Then I went to pick up Hopitles out of the other tank for myself. White snake for her, black one for me.

Dita stroked its leathery body. “This one’s my favorite.”

“Don’t listen to the mean lady,” I cooed at Hopitles. “It’s okay, buddy. She knows nothing.”

“But this one’s so… special. I’ve never seen a snake so white. And those eyes. Kind of looks like it’s carved out of marble while yours—”

“Dita,” I cut her off, lifting my brows in warning. “The kids are listening.”

“Oh, right,” she whispered sweetly to Ace, “Sorry.”

Of course, it didn’t look up like an ordinary pet would. It slithered along my arm, getting to know its new owner better every day.

“It’s the blue eyed leucistic complex.”

“The what?”

“It’s like albinism. They’re also called BEL pythons and are pretty rare. Loved by a lot of breeders.”
