“I don’t know, getting involved might backfire on us,” Maggie said.
“What choice do we have?” Viola asked.
“Look Gabby’s admitted to Haley that she loves Wyatt, and Wyatt admitted to me that he’s in love with Gabby,” Morris stated.
“I’m surprised after what your brother said last week you’d want to help him,” Isaac said to his daughter.
“I didn’t, not at first, I wanted like everyone else in here for Gabby to come home so I could apologize for being rude to her, but if Wyatt really does love her, and she loves him, don’t we owe it to them to help?”
“You all feel the same?” Owen asked.
“We want Gabby to be happy, Dad,” Viola said.
“Then we’ll help,” he said, “and perhaps we should clue them in on our ideas?”
“You all were plotting?” Sam laughed.
“I refuse to allow my grandchild to be born somewhere I can’t see him or her the moment that they’re here…” Maggie stated.
“So what was your all’s idea?” Adam inquired.
“A bit more devious than yours,” Rick assured them.
“Though I do agree with giving her a bit of space,” Caroline informed the elder generation.
“Might be wise,” Owen agreed.
“What is it?” Joan asked.
“If your plan doesn’t work out or if Gabby decides not to come home soon then we’ll use ours…we were going to find an underhanded way to get her here,” Maggie admitted.
“How underhanded?” Nate asked.
“I was going to fake another heart attack,” Owen stated.
“Dad!” Viola shouted. “We want her home not freaking out.”
“Gabby’s stronger than you give her credit for,” he assured her. “After all she’s known for almost twelve years that she wasn’t mine and yet she never let on that she knew it and never loved me less.”
“Alright, we’ll give her some space and see if she comes home, if not we’ll consider your idea Plan A and ours as Plan B,” Isaac stated.
“Now, who’d like to look through some photo albums and see what Gabby’s really been up to the past few years?” Haley inquired with a smile. “I think they’ll help everyone here understand her a bit better…”
“I think there’s someone else who should see these,” Joan said a bit later.
“Wyatt?” Morris asked.
“Yeah, he’s been wondering who the real Gabby is, these are more than enough explanation,” she stated.
“Maybe they should be Plan C?” Nate joked.
“Oh my god,” Haley said.
“What?” Adam asked.
“I was trying to figure out how Gabby had kept another account secret from everyone…but she didn’t. It was under our noses all the time,” she laughed.
“You’ve lost me,” Viola stated.
