Austin: Fuck, no! Anyway, back to the point. We need a theme.
Connor: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. We can be the turtles, Aurora can be April.
Aurora: No, she can’t.
There was no way in hell I would be caught dead in a bright yellow jumpsuit.

Aurora: I don’t even know what to say to that.
I smiled. I’m pretty sure there was a rule about texting your brother’s best friend whilst texting your brother as part of a group chat they were both in, but it was harmless. He was just being friendly.
I switched to the group chat.
Aurora: You don’t need to include me, I’m not sure I’m coming to the party anyway.
Connor: Little Hart!!!
Austin: You’ve got to come. What about Scooby Doo, Shaggy, Fred, and Velma.
