I slid in from behind, groaning at how tight she was as her cunt pulsed around me, squeezing me in its grip until my vision blurred.

“Fuck, Bonnie,” I groaned.

She panted and reached around with one hand, grabbing my ass, silently begging for more. “Don’t hold back Cal. I want it all.”

I didn’t. I gripped her hips hard enough that I knew there would be bruises tomorrow, but I didn’t give a damn. I took the pleasure she was offering. Had my fill of it, pounding into her while the cries of satisfaction echoed in the shower. It wasn’t a pretty fuck, oh, no. It was hard and fast and dirty.

It was just what we both needed after the intensity of last night.

Heavy footfalls stole the afterglow of the orgasm even though it was just Virgil. And Jasper.

Bonnie gasped in shock. Maybe it was embarrassment, and I shielded her body with my own.

“My God,” she whispered and tried to make herself as small as possible.

“Hey guys. What’s up?”

Jasper’s expression was inscrutable but Virgil, he was just plain pissed.

“Midnight Mass got shot up last night. No fatalities, just a lot of fucking damage,” he growled.

“And cops,” Jasper added with a sneer. “A shit ton of fucking cops, Cal.”

I nodded, understanding this was bad but not understanding what any of it had to do with me. “Okay. What do you need from me?”

Virgil took a step forward and it didn’t take a genius to figure out that his glare was going right through me. To Bonnie.

“They were looking for the red-headed bitch who still owes them money. Squeaker’s death didn’t change that,” he said, his voice hard and his tone steely.

“Hang on,” I told my brother, unwilling to let him blame Bonnie or intimidate her when she was in such a vulnerable position.

“No, fuck that Cal. We’ve given her chance after chance and now it’s time she answers some fucking questions.”

Slowly Bonnie stepped out from behind me, one arm covering her tits and the other trying hard to cover her pussy. “Turn the fuck around,” I barked at them.

Jasper snorted. “Nothing we’ve never seen before.”

“It’s okay,” Bonnie said softly but I shook off her words.

“No. It’s not fucking okay; you were a virgin twelve hours ago and now you’re comfortable with strange men staring at you naked?”

Realizing the reality of the situation, Bonnie’s skin turned a frightening shade of red and her head sank.

“It doesn’t matter.”

I didn’t understand the air of defeat, and I didn’t fucking like it. She turned to Virgil and Jasper. “I can explain.” Just like that she went from tomato red to deathly pale.

“Explain what?” I said at the same time Virgil barked out his orders.

“So explain!”

“Let us get dressed first,” I told them and stood in front of her, letting my brothers know that this was non-negotiable. “Now.”

“We’ll be downstairs.” Virgil and Jasper stomped out, anger radiating from them both.

As soon as we were alone, I turned to Bonnie. “Well?”

“I, uhm…need to get dressed.” She practically ran, naked, from my bathroom to her guest room across the hall, returning minutes later in black stretch pants and a Glitz University hoodie that made her look far younger than she was. “I still owe money to The Crusaders.”

I nodded. “In another week, you’ll be at your 30 days and I’ll pay it off.”

“They added interest. A lot,” she said quietly. “For every day I don’t pay.”

That didn’t make sense, not one fucking bit. At first. “You’re still getting drugs from them,” I said. It wasn’t a question; she was still using. “Goddammit, Bonnie!”

“Not much,” she insisted. “I just needed some here and there to get me over the rough patches, and it’s harder than I thought it would be. You don’t understand. The withdrawals are killing me.”

“No fucking shit, Bonnie. And I do understand. You’re a fucking addict and a stupid one at that! These guys are dangerous, don’t you get that? Or are you too far gone to give a shit anymore? Because honestly, I can’t tell.”

“I…just forget it.”

I shook my head, too angry to listen. “They’ll whore you out until you’re all used up. Is that what you want, Bonnie? Is it?” I was harsh, but how else could I get her to understand?

“These aren’t some college kids selling dope for tuition; this is their business Bonnie. A lucrative one at that.”

Her head fell forward, damp red hair covering most of her face. “I’m sorry, Cal. I just…I thought I had it under control.”

“Bullshit,” I snapped. The truth was it didn’t matter what she said at that moment. I was too angry, too betrayed, too scared for her to listen to reason. “You’re a fucking junkie and junkies don’t change. I knew it and I went there with you anyway. Christ, you’re not shooting up are you?”

Bonnie gasped and took a step back, looking like the injured one all of a sudden. When she spoke, her words were so soft they were barely audible. “No.”
