The woman brought us to a locker with a robe and slippers in it. They waited outside while I changed.

The next few hours were magical. Women pampered every inch of my body. I had no idea a place like this existed. Instead of just a makeup store, I wanted this.

Body hair I didn’t know I had in places I couldn’t reach was removed. My nails were filed and painted. Everything was scrubbed and made to feel new. I was new. It was perfect. Then we got to my hair.

“Oh, Ethan did it.” I told the man. I wanted to keep it like this forever.

“I just figured you might want it pink. Like the wig you own.” Ethan stood behind me.

He had been by my side the whole time, except when they waxed my private area. I enjoyed his company and the endless amounts of food he had the workers bring. After a few glasses of champagne, I had switched to water. I didn’t want to be drunk or even buzzed.

“Really? I can do that? Like fluorescent pink?” My hair was a muddy brown. There was no way dye would stick.

The man nodded and went to work. The whole time he asked me about my life before. He was rich and did hair for fun. Homeless people fascinated him. Especially one with a love of the spa.

I told him the big picture stuff, leaving out all the trauma I dealt with. Then we got to the marriage auction. Apparently he found his husband that way. Some rich CEO that he loves, but was boring in the love making department.

Ethan smirked and winked at me. It was like he was saying I didn’t have to worry about that. I couldn’t wait to find out.

I was nervous about the wedding night, I didn’t have to sleep with Tristan, but I did have to sleep with Ethan and Adam. How would that work? One at a time or both at the same time? I had to admit I was a little turned on by the perspective of both ways.

Ethan looked down at his phone and sighed.

“Everything okay?” I asked as the hairdresser was finishing my hair.

“Yeah, Tristan took off for a few days. Don’t worry, he’ll be back for the vow exchange.” Ethan shoved his phone back into his pocket.

My heart sank. I was kinda hoping he would be around for another sleepover. I slept so easily next to him.

“Do you not like it?” The hairdresser fluffed my hair.

I peered into the mirror. He put different shades of pink in my hair to mimic highlights. It flowed down my shoulders and stopped at my breasts. I moved my head around to see every angle possible. Tears swelled in my eyes. I grabbed the man and pulled him in for a hug.

“Thank you. Thank you.” I sobbed.

“No problem. By the way, my name is Jack. If you want, I can do your hair for your wedding.” He stepped back. I didn’t think he liked being hugged. I made a mental note not to do that again.

Ethan nodded, answering for me. Then he was pulling me toward the back of the building again.

“Are we leaving?” I didn’t want to complain, but I never wanted to leave.

“Do you still want the massage?” he asked.

“Yes, please.” It was the one thing that hadn’t happened yet.

“One condition.”

“Anything.”

“I give you the massage.” Ethan pulled my hand up to his lips. “No one touches your body but me.”

I giggled and didn’t mention that various people had their hands on me all day. Instead, I nodded as he brought me into a room with a table.

He directed me to remove my robe, lie on the table, and cover myself with a sheet. I directed him to turn around. I grabbed a towel and wrapped it around my waist. If the sheet slipped I didn’t want him to see the scar Brad left me.

Ethan turned on a sound machine that mimicked a thunderstorm. Then he flicked a switch and the lights dimmed. The anticipation alone was driving me wild. I laid there watching him, waiting.

Finally, he walked over to me. My stomach fluttered. This was really about to happen.
