“Next time,” she says, gaze glued to mine.

“You kids have fun,” Ermine waves toodles as he leaves the dressing room.

“I’m all yours,” Ivy tells me.

“Good.” Whatever that strange moment was before, it’s gone now. I lean in for a chaste kiss. A brush of lips.

It’s not enough. I’m hungry for her. And that one touch sparks my ferocious appetite. I lift her off her feet and she winds her legs around my hips with a barely audible moan. My fingers sink into the flesh of her ass as I hold her. My tongue slips between her teeth to taste her. The mint of her lips mingles with the blackberry and sugar of her perfume. She’s a feast for my senses, and I always want more.

“You two should get a room.” Riot pretends to be disgusted.

Adira fans himself. “Christ, that’s hot.”

“I…” Ivy pulls her lip between her teeth. Smiles.

I laugh. “We got carried away. We’re going now, so you don’t have to witness any more gross misconduct.”

“No. Stay. My dressing room is your dressing room,” Adira says. “Ivy needs to get out of that. Besides there will be cameras out front. You might want to give it a few minutes.”

Ivy shivers like someone walked over her grave. “I do need to change.”

“I’m going to head out,” Riot says, pulling a Lakers cap out of his back pocket and dropping it on his head, before pulling his hoody up over it. A pair of dark shades completes the ensemble.

“Ro?” I ask. She went to visit a friend in Chicago for a few days. Needed the breather after reliving her nightmare for Marty to record. I’m not sure when she’s coming home, but my little brother will be the first to know.

I can’t blame her for taking off. I don’t think any of us do. We’re supposed to meet up again to finalize any last questions in the next week and I don’t think a single one of us isn’t dreading it. I’m just glad Ivy isn’t on Alec’s radar… I’ll do whatever it takes to keep it that way.

“Kelsey has some news, so we’re meeting up.” He shrugs before addressing my girl. “You were fantastic, Ivy.”

“Thank you.” She smiles up at my younger brother.

“All right,” he says. “I’m out of here.”

“And I am off to see a girl about a banana,” Adira says.

“Do I want to know?” Ivy asks in a tone that suggests she isn’t the tiniest bit curious about her bestie’s need for a banana.

“No, you don’t.” I cover her ears with my hands.

“Hey.” She pries my hands from the side of her head. “What do you think you’re doing?”

“Protecting your virtue,” I say.

Adira tosses his head back and laughs.

“You think I’m innocent?” She flutters her lashes at me. “You do realize I live with this fiend?”

“I think I want to find out more about how you’re not so innocent.” The idea has me hot and bothered and tugging at my collar.

Adira shakes his head as he walks away. “Have a good time, you two. Don’t do anything I wouldn’t do.”

“I don’t think we’re at any risk of that happening,” I mutter to myself. No banana is going anywhere near my ass.

“What was that?” Ivy asks.

“I’m going to take you to dinner.”

“I’ll just get changed,” Ivy says.
