Raj pulled over his laptop and started taking notes. “Raleigh?” he asked.
Chuff.
“Is that where you’re from?” Raj asked him.
Growl.
“Living there?”
Growl.
“Were you on vacation?” I blurted.
Anubis cocked his head and started at me for a moment, then growled again.
“Work?” I asked.
Chuff.
Raj’s fingers tapped at his keyboard. “Okay, in Raleigh for work. Let’s see if we’ve got any missing shifter reports from Raleigh-Durham.”
