The question definitely woke me up.

I sighed softly. “It’s going to make me sound pitiful.”

“That’s not even remotely possible.”

“Fine. I told you my family was famous. They wanted me to be like them; perfect. One of my older brothers graduated early and became one of the youngest surgeons in the country. The other one was a famous actor by the time he could talk, and his fame only grew from there.”

I went on, “I hated crowds, and couldn’t stand acting as a little kid, so I threw huge tantrums. Eventually, no one would hire me. When my parents hired the same tutors for me that they did my older brother, all of them agreed that I wasn’t willing to learn, too busy with my head in a book. My parents decided I was a failure, and reminded me of it over, and over, and over again.”

Ervo’s body was deathly still, but his hand started to stroke my back slowly. I could tell it was taking him effort to stay still.

“I had one friend, growing up. Stacy. We were both failures to our parents, but we were there for each other. We both loved to ride horses, and would meet up most days and ride together. There was a storm—and a freak accident. Stacy died, and my parents decided to sell all of the horses. I’d just lost my best and only friend, and they took away the only other thing I really loved. I wasn’t even eighteen at the time. I spent months trying to prove myself, so they would let me buy my horse back, but I wasn’t allowed to work, and I was still in high school, so I couldn’t just leave.”

My voice grew softer. “After I graduated, they refused to give me money for college because of my many failures. I applied for jobs, so I could move out and go, but they made sure I didn’t get those jobs. Didn’t have transportation, either. I was completely at their mercy.”

I continued, “The depression became overwhelming, and my thoughts grew very, very dark. A few days after my twentieth birthday, they lit the candles for the damn social media pictures. And as I leaned over, the only thing I could think to wish for was a new life. And then, like a miracle, you guys appeared in my parents’ house—and you brought me here. Vevol was never a prison for me; it was a second chance.”

Ervo was quiet for a long, long time.

He continued stroking my back, and I waited until he was ready to speak.

“I’m sorry about everything you went through,” he finally said, his voice low and soft. “And I’m proud of all you survived.”

My eyes watered. “Thank you.”

He pulled me slightly closer to him—and I hugged him slightly tighter.

And we fell asleep just like that.

The sun was barely peekingover the horizon when a rough rocking motion dragged me from sleep.

I found myself in the exact same position I’d fallen asleep in—my bare body draped over Ervo’s half-naked one, and my thigh pressing against his erection. Only, his erection had wormed itself free of the shorts he had on.

His hips were jerking slightly in his sleep, one of his fists clenched in the sheets, and the other on the pillow.

I wished they were in my hair.

His face was twisted in a snarl, and I could see the tip of him glistening.

He was having a wet dream.

And he wasclose.

This was about six steps further along my plan than I was supposed to be, but…

Screw the plan.

After what I’d admitted to him last night, I was feeling about six steps further along than before too.

I slid down his body, biting my lip as I approached his gigantic cock.

I’d only given two blowjobs before, and I was pretty sure I’d done them wrong. But…

I was going for it.

Ervo wouldn’t know if I was doing it wrong anyway, and something told me he wouldn’t care at all if I was.

My fingers wrapped around the base of him, and his body went still.
