"You really are," Whitney says, giving me a tight hug as soon as Mom lets go of me.

"Thank you. Thank you for making this day possible," I say to both of them, with tears in my eyes.

"Thank you for making me your maid of honor!" Whitney says, winking at me.

"I'm so proud of you," Mom says with a smile on her face as she cradles my cheeks in her hands. "You did a wonderful job with your dress, and I'm sure you'll make a wonderful wife."

"She certainly will. All that's left is to make sure Parker measures up," Whitney says, her tone teasing, still a little resentful toward Parker after finding out everything that had happened between us. But, she will forgive him eventually. At least, I hope she will.

"Let’s have a wonderful celebration!" Whitney adds, smoothing out the non-existent wrinkles in her dress, a perfectionist like me.

"We have to hurry. there's a wedding waiting for you!" she urges.

I nod, feeling like my heart is going to fall out of my mouth. It is all real. This is my wedding day, and I can't wait another second to say “I do” to Parker in front of all the people I love.

Overjoyed, I walk out of the room, with Whitney, my mother, and Sarah walking beside me. We enter the garden where the ceremony will take place. The place is full of flowers, which creates ambiance in the middle of a perfect spring day, as a harp band plays a soft and romantic melody. The sky is clear and the sun is shining. It is a beautiful day for a wedding.

Thanks to my mother, the decorations are elegant and sophisticated. The aisle is covered with rose petals and there is an archway of flowers where the ceremony is to be held.

At that moment, I see Parker at the end of the walkway, with a smile on his face and eyes full of love. My heart is pounding, knowing that, at the end of the road, is the man I love.

"I can't believe this is happening," I whisper, feeling excitement wash over me.

"Well, believe it," Whitney says to me, after giving me one last big hug and leaving me to my big brother, Grayson, who is about to walk me down the aisle.

"Are you ready, beautiful?" he asks me, and I take a deep breath in.

"I don't think I've ever been so ready," I say.

"Good, because I'm not," Grayson confesses to me. "I'm not ready to give you away to Parker, or anyone, but I trust he makes you happy."

"He does. He really does," I assure my favorite brother, and he nods.

"Well then, let's get to it, little girl." He kisses me on the forehead.

Feeling grateful to my brother for walking me down the aisle, I take his hand, and inhale the scent of freesia and roses wafting through the air, I walk beside him, straight toward Parker with a smile on my face.

He looks so handsome, just like he always does, with his hair slicked back and a black tuxedo perfectly tailored to his sleek, toned body. The curvature of his lips gives away his excitement as his green eyes express to me the infinite love he feels for me.

Feeling emotion and love filling the air, I can’t hold back my tears much longer. It is the day I have always dreamed of, not daring to believe it can be a reality, except now, it is actually happening.

"Take good care of her," Grayson says to Parker as soon as he guides me into his hands.

"I promise I will," Parker replies as he shakes his best friend's hand.

Grayson nods and gives Parker a tight hug. "You were always a part of us but, officially, welcome to the family," he says with a warm smile plastered over his lips.

Parker returns the smile, knowing that the Goulds have always considered him one of their own. But, this is different. He will be my husband now, the father of my child, and in a way, that changes things. It makes them more real.

Leaving a final kiss imprinted on my forehead, Grayson walks back down the aisle as he watches me with a gesture filled with love.

"Ready?" Parker whispers as the priest begins the ceremony with a beautiful speech about love and commitment.

"I've never been more ready for anything in my life," I confess to him with a smile.

"Not even to take over New York Fashion Week?" he asks me, joking.

"Not even then."
