ChapterThirteen

MARCUS

“I’m done with fucking around with you, Marcus.” Cecil rolled over in bed covered in sweat and feeling good about himself.

He would bring up being done with me right after we’d spent all day in bed together. Tired of the back and forth in our relationship, if you could call it that, I weighed my options. In exchange for the debt I was in, I’d agreed to be his personal fucktoy on the side. When he called, I answered. No matter where it was.

That’s how I’d ended up getting caught by Simone with him and his guard in our bed. He didn’t care about her walking in. When I’d tried to go after her, they held me down until I promised not to. Then they took turns making me feel better until we fucked the day away. It was time that she knew the truth, anyway. Letting her go was best, so between the alcohol and the sex, I got lost.

Truthfully, I’ve only spiraled since being divorced. Transsexuals, men, alcohol, and gambling. I was always indulging in one of the four on a continuous cycle. Now, I wasn’t ashamed of my love for men. Maybe I’d never liked women, but because being gay was labeled wrong, I’d done my best to stay away from that stereotype. I had loved Simone, though, in my own way. She’d been my best friend and understood all the other parts of me. I should’ve tried harder with her.

“Define done.” I stared at the ceiling unphased by his words.

“You need to come up with some money or our deal is over.”

“Why don’t you give me the money so I can pay your guys and we’ll keep this deal between us?”

“How are you ever going to pay me back when you can’t keep cards out of your fucking hands?”

“I’ll see if I can borrow some money from my ex.”

“You mean the one fucking Beni?” He snorted.

“She’ll do anything for me if I ask.” I lied.

I needed more time for my plan to work. There was a place in Toronto that I’d signed a lease for, but I had to wait a few weeks before it became available. If I took my next paycheck, I could make a run for it and figure out my shit once I got there. Staying here just proved to give me more excuses to keep up with this fucking loop I was caught in.

I’d never pegged Simone to be a whore, but if she thought I didn’t know that she was fucking Beni to get the club back, she was wrong. A couple of weeks ago, I mustered up the courage to apologize to her. Going to her house, but she hadn’t answered the door when I knocked. I’d recognized the driver sitting in front of her house watching me, so I left, parked a few blocks over, came through the back of her yard, and peeked through the window to find her on her knees sucking his dick.

The lucky bitch took his schlong like a fucking pro. I’d even watched him fuck her afterward. The two of them got me hard, and I jerked off on her rose bush. When he started eating her pussy, that was my signal to go. Though it was interesting that she let him put his finger in her when she was never into that shit when we were together. Maybe we could have worked out if she’d let me put my dick in there.

“Since you care about that bitch so much, get me some cash, and then we’ll talk. If you don’t, I’ll end that bitch.” His phone rang, and he chuckled devilishly. “These fucking DeLucas. Hello, Tommaso.” He put the phone on speaker while he got up and got dressed.

“Did you think about my offer?” Tommaso asked.

“Don’t you think it’s twisted that you want me to kill off your son?” Cecil asked.

“If he was a better one, maybe not. He’s got me in this shithole apartment and won’t answer my calls. He’s even turning my men against me!”

“Tommaso, listen. Those apartments aren’t cheap. You’re just used to living in a fucking mansion. Old man, it’s time to step aside and let the younger generations in your bloodline take over. That’s what’s wrong with you and my father. You want things to go your way. Beni is a decent guy. I’m not willing to help you fuck him over or kill him. He’s kept his word so far and I respect men who are decent.”

“Fuck you, Cecil.” Tommaso ended the call and Cecil laughed.

“What if I staged a kidnapping for you to get the ransom?” I blurted.

“From who?” Cecil asked.

“Beni.”

“Are you fucking nuts? What, does everybody have it out for this guy, or what? Get dressed, fairy.”

I rolled my eyes because he always said demeaning shit after he’s had his way with me. He walked me downstairs and there was a woman crying and sitting on the couch.

“Cecil!” She stood up and ran into his arms.

“Hey, little sister. What’s wrong?” He mouthed for me to wait a second before I left.

“He had his guards rough me up.” She huffed. I didn’t see a scratch in sight, just hurt feelings.
