CHAPTERFIFTY

One Week Later

So. The Mile High Club is pretty fucking amazing. Of course, sex with my wife is fucking amazing anywhere.

I am one lucky bastard.

When we roll into Dreamcatcher Manor, I’m smiling harder than I ever have in my life. My lovely bride is singing some eighties song, her glossy sable hair is tossing in the wind, and her sweet, sexy as fuck bare legs have my fingerprints all over them.

Feeling my oats, I say, “Might want to cover those legs up before we see the family.”

She grins lazily as I pull up to the gate and wave at the guards. “I know. But I like seeing them right now.”

“Me too. Like my marks all over ye.”

A little wicked look in her eye, she reaches over and clenches my thigh. “I like ‘em in me too.”

As I roar up the long driveway, I cup her hand beneath mine and drag it to my now pulsing cock. When the car glides to a stop in front of the stairs that lead up to the main entrance of our house, a growl forms in the back of my throat. “Careful there, babe, I’ll be keeping ye to myself this evening if you continue like that.”

She hops out of the car and takes off. “You’ll have to catch me first.”

I laugh and let her go with a wave. I know she’s dying to see her family as much as I'm dying to throw her over my shoulder and drag her off to the bedroom again.

But that can wait. We’ve got all night after we catch up with the rest of the crew. Truth of the matter is, I want to see my boy damn near as much as she does. We talked a lot about our future as we flew to Vegas, and I can’t wait to get started building our life with this new insta-family made of friends and Finn.

I find Carra—Fuck. I mean, Kathleen on the lawn behind the main house. There’s some kind of game going on with a big ball and lots of laughter.

Finn pivots my way the instant he sees me. Legs flying, arms pumping, he bolts across the yard. “I thought I heard your car coming down the road.”

“You did? Those are good ears if you recognized it from so far away.”

All seven-year-old enthusiasm, he rapidly says, “Can we go for a ride again now?”

“Maybe tomorrow. Right now, we need to see everyone and tell them about the wedding.”

“I heard you married Cha-cha.”

Laying a hand on his angular shoulder, I turn him toward the others. “I did.”

“What does that mean?”

“It means that I love her more than the sun, the moon, and the stars.”

He frowns up at me. “I don’t love those things.”

I chuckle at his innocent frankness. “One day you’ll understand. It means, I love your Cha-cha a whole lot.”

“Good. I’m glad. She’s nice,” he says solemnly looking up at me like he might kick my shin if I said otherwise. Then he takes off, sprinting back into the game again.

“So, I’m nice?” Carra holds out her hand to me.

“Officially pronounced by a wee official.” I cast a glance across the patio. “Holy shite, is that Max and Eva over there by the pool?”

“Yep. Apparently, they are trying to ‘work some things out,’ according to Ariel.”

“He looks like he’s about to chew the arm off that lawn chair.”

“Which probably means that they’ll end up getting married,” Carra says, turning so her back is toward them so they won’t see her laughing.
