When Iwake upthe next morning, warm, golden sunlight filters into the bedroom and illuminates my warm skin. I sit up in the bed, clutching the comforter to my chest and rubbing the sleep from my eyes.

If the pulsing ache between my legs and the cramps in my thighs weren’t there, I would have sworn yesterday was a fever dream. I mean, how believable is it for someone to have that kind of experience, right? I never imagined losing my virginity so soon, and not in that way, either.

I lift my arms high over my head and stretch luxuriously, releasing some of the tension brought on by yesterday’s events.

My core warms at the thought of Josh, Christian, and Michael worshiping me for hours, introducing me to a world of pleasure I didn’t even know existed.

Speaking of my men…

The room is empty.

Nerves set my stomach fluttering. Should I be nervous that I’m all alone in an apartment with three strangers who are clearly hiding something?

Yes. The answer is yes. My head is telling me to run, but at the same time, I feel safe with them.

My naïveté has often gotten me into situations I’d rather not be in, so I’m hoping this isn’t one of those times.

Quietly, I get out of bed and creep to the door. I press my ear against it and try to hear movement on the other side, but it’s completely silent.

“Maybe they’re gone,” I mumble to myself. Deciding now would be a good time to try to leave, I quickly locate my clothes—neatly folded on the chair Michael was sitting in last night—and get dressed. Since Christian ripped my shirt last night, I have to wear one of their fancy button-ups.

When I’m done, I nudge open the door, peering out into the hall. As soon as I take a step out, I hear voices coming from one of the guest rooms.

I duck back into the room and hide behind the door.

“Hurry before she wakes up,” I hear Josh hiss.

“We should have done this last night when she was asleep,” Michael grunts. “This is cutting it too close.”

“We were all exhausted, Michael,” Christian replies impatiently. “Let’s just hurry up and get this over with.”

What the hell are they talking about?

My curiosity wins over rational thought because I come from around the door and confront the three of them in the hallway.

“What the hell is going on?”

“Shit!” Josh swears. He drops a large duffel bag onto the floor, and something inside of it shatters.

I look at the bag warily, then lookat the three of them holding copious amounts of things that clearly don’t belong to them. “What is that?”

“Stuff,” Josh says gruffly.

I cross my arms over my chest. “Don’t be a prick. Tell me what it is or I’m calling the police.”

Christian grins maniacally and takes a step toward me. “You’ll call the police? And tell them what, beautiful?”

Well…

That’s a good question. It doesn’t matter that I want to call because I don’t even have my phone on me.

“Where’s my phone?” I ask, frantically patting my pockets, but then I remember I put it in my bag after I left work yesterday.

I look up at them, my heart starting to race. “And where’s my bag? Why are the three of you acting so suspicious?”

Josh takes a step toward me now, his eyes soft and yearning. “Please don’t be afraid, Brie. I promise we have no intentions of hurting you.”

“Then let me go.”
