Under no circumstancescan he contact her, and it makes him want to fucking die.
Now that she’s registered as an Omega, the local government could be monitoring her phone.
He can barely sleep, and when he does, the nightmares come back tenfold.
When he was with Audrey, it was the most peaceful rest he’s had in years.
His tortured soul finally found peace when they were together.
He doesn’t know if it's love, but he hopes it will eventually be enough for her.
But as of now, if he doesn’t tread lightly, he’s well and truly fucked.
Miraculously, she’s under the care of her sister instead of in an Omega city, according to the court documents he accessed.
However, there’s also something in the public records that makes him pause.
Her local police station has her name registered under a potential case of trespassing—with the witness as Tabitha Collins.
He knows exactly who that is. She’s the one that led most of the research and experiments that Audrey wasn’t privy to—basically, she’s a piece of filth, and he’ll be damned if she is the reason Audrey ends up in prison.
It will make it that much harder for her to make it to Canada.
It’s time to pay Tabitha a visit.
“I’ll be back,” he promises a certain feline that purrs in his lap. He’s a skilled hunter, but he was surprised at how quickly Pearl returned, watching as he cleaned up the carnage at the rented beach house as if nothing happened.
He wants to bring her back to Audrey as soon as possible, but he had to make sure it was safe to do so.
But now he’s on a time crunch since Audrey’s old boss is trying to save herself.
Making sure Pearl has enough food and water, he leaves the apartment he rented under a stolen name, and sets off to find Tabitha.

His anger fuels him.The rush of the chase gives him delicious adrenaline, and he’s ready to destroy the Beta woman until she’s drowning in her own tears.
He finds her in her lavish condominium. Her salary was much larger than Audrey’s, and her wealth and vanity are just another reason to take his time with her.
“Wake up, Tabitha,” he sings.
It may be dramatic for him to stand over her bed grinning, but it’sfun.
Audrey wouldn’t approve, but Tabitha could ruin his Omega’s life, and he can’t allow that to happen.
He’s accustomed to seeing in near complete darkness, but the Beta woman is not.
She wakes up with a gasp, but before she can scream, his hand is over her mouth.
He doesn’t even need a weapon. He knows his presence is enough to terrify her.
“Hi, Tabitha,” he whispers in her ear as the woman shakes and pants hot breath against his glove. “You don’t know me, but I know you and all the atrocities you’ve committed against my kind.”
She whimpers and tries to speak over, but he pushes his palm down, and she lets out a muffled scream.
