“How are you doing?” Sean asks as I walk over to the bench and sit down before lifting my foot to dust the stray grass from it.

“I honestly don’t know,” I admit looking around. “It’s been a mad couple of days, to say the least,” I sigh pulling on my sock and trainer before cleaning my other foot.

“Do you need more space?” he asks squatting in front of me. I shrug pulling on my sock.

“I don’t know what I need. You’ve given me a lot to work through.”

He takes my trainer from my hand and slides it onto my foot. “You know that we would never, ever, hurt you don’t you?”

I look into his brown eyes and nod slowly. “I know,” I reply honestly. There has never been a time that I thought the guys would hurt me. I always knew there was a part of them that would hurt anyone else who did, but I’ve always been safe with them.

Sean reaches out and takes my hands.

“If you weren’t here and you needed to clear your head, where would you go? What would you do?” he asks gently.

“To the school, I always dance until I can start making sense of whatever’s playing on my mind,” I reply as I look around us. “But I don’t suppose going there’s an option right now, is it?” I flutter my eyelashes at him playfully. Sean laughs as he stands up and looks around.

“Probably not as Christian is sorting out security. Jason and Maximus have gone out and will be out for a while. But I have a good idea where you can practice.” He holds out his hand, I take it and let him lead me back to the house.

“I thought Christian would already be dragging me into the meeting with security,” I confess looking at the flowers that we pass.

“He’s put it off to give you time and for the others to get back.”

“Where are they?”

Sean looks to the side for a moment, before letting out a deep breath and looking at me.

“Maximus has struggled with the fact Tommy was taking your money, he’s gone to confront him.”

“And Jason has gone with him?” I ask in a panic. He stops and cups my face again.

“Jason has gone to make sure he doesn’t go too far.”

“Do you think Maximus is okay?” I ask as he steps back beside me and we walk back into the house. Sean looks at me with an arched brow as he lets go of my hand and places his arm around my shoulder tugging me against him.

“It’s not Maximus you need to worry about. There’s a real chance he will kill Tommy for taking money from you.”

“I didn’t mean to cause any problems,” I whisper as guilt eats away at me. I always knew there was tension between the guys and their father; the last thing I wanted was to make matters worse. Sean leads me to a door by the stairs and opens it revealing steps that go down.

“You’ve done nothing wrong, don’t ever think that you have. Tommy saw a way to make money and took it. We’re just angry that it was going on for so long and none of us realised. We should have.”

As we get to the bottom of the stairs, I realise we’re in a large gym. There is every type of equipment you can think of here, from free weights, rowing machines, bikes, treadmills and machines that work every type of muscle.

“You can come in here whenever you want. I’m not sure if you ever use the gym, but it’s here if you want it,” Sean explains as he leads me through. He points to a door at the far back wall. “There are punch bags, a ring and other sparring equipment in there. If you need anyone to train with just say and one of us will happily hold the pads for you,” he says with a smile, which widens as we reach another door. He stops at it and turns to face me.

“This room should be spacious enough for you to dance in,” he announces as he opens it and allows me to step in first.

As soon as I walk into the room he switches on the lights and my jaw nearly hits the floor. I’m standing in a large room with mirrors on every wall from floor to ceiling. There’s a long dance railing against one wall which is the perfect height for me to hold to stretch, and the wooden floor is perfect for dancing on.

“There is a stereo in the cabinet in the corner there, the sound has been checked and you can hear everything perfectly from every point in the room. We have been ensured that the room has everything you will need to practice, but if there is anything we missed please don’t hesitate to tell us and we will get it for you.” Sean says as I walk into the middle of the room and take in the perfection of everything.

“You all did this for me?” I ask overcome with gratitude. Other than my grandparents no one had ever done anything for me before the guys, but this leaves another spark in my heart to remind me how much they care.

“Of course. We all know how much you love to dance, and we knew one day you would be here with us. We wanted to make sure that you had everything you could need available to you.”

I turn to look at Sean as the excitement of the room becomes too much, I squeal as I run up launching myself into his arms, and wrap my legs around his waist. He laughs as he holds me tight.

“Thank you it’s perfect,” I squeal into his neck before lifting my head and kissing him.
