I smile as I get into the car and place my bag on my lap. Sean sits beside me, and Jason climbs into the seats at the side of the car. The door closes and the driver returns to his seat behind the wheel.

“When you are ready, Stephen,” Jason says as he reaches out and picks up a champagne bottle from an ice bucket in front of us.

“Of course, Sir. We will be there in forty minutes.” The window between us and the driver closes, and the car pulls away from the house. Jason pours the three of us a flute of champagne each, I hold my glass out in front of me as the others clink theirs against it.

“Here’s to a great night, introducing you to our world, angel,” Jason says with a wink before taking a sip of his drink. I sip mine as my stomach tightens with nerves, I look at the two men with me and know that as long as I’m with them nothing and no one will harm me.

The Gentlemen’s Club we pull up outside of looks no different from any others I’ve seen. The guys gave me a tour of another venue a year ago before they opened it to the members.

The car door opens and Jason gets out first before holding his hand out for me. I climb out and stand next to him as Sean appears to my left.

“Remember angel, no matter what you don’t leave Sean’s side. I might get called away, but you stay with him. The only security that will take you from Sean is Layton. If he grabs you, go with him and don’t try and find any of us. We will meet you at home.”

I look at Jason and nod nervously. “If Layton grabs me, I take it all hell’s breaking loose.”

“Angel, hell doesn’t even cover it. If shit starts to go down you run and don’t look back,” Jason enforces before cupping my face. “I’m sure tonight will be fine, but we need a plan for every situation. Just remember, no matter how we are with others in there, we would never hurt you,” Jason reassures me for the tenth time tonight.

“I know Daddy,” I reassure him. Jason kisses me gently before looking to the left of me at Sean.

“Everything ready?”

Sean looks up from his phone and nods. “Christian’s in the front bar greeting people, he said to meet him there.” Sean holds out his arm and I wrap mine around it. “Come on, princess. Let’s show them what a real knockout looks like.”

I roll my eyes as Jason laughs and places a hand on the bottom of my back, guiding me forward.

The bouncers open the door, both giving a nod to Jason and Sean. Just inside I spot Layton who gives me a wink before he falls into step behind us as we head into what appears to be a large bar.

Inside there are dozens of tables with people sitting around as waiters and waitresses carry trays of drinks to them all. Maximus explained to me this morning that this area is just as it seems a normal bar where people with a lot of money come to meet, discuss business and have a few drinks. It is a legitimate gentlemen’s club that the guys opened a couple of years ago. Women are welcome here and looking around I can see a lot sitting next to the men. You can’t mistake the ones who are the trophy wives, as they are looking around bored as the men talk. Others pay attention to what’s being discussed and seem to participate in the conversation.

When I first heard of the underground fight, I assumed there wouldn’t be much of a dress code. Even after the guys had told me otherwise and I’d put on the beautiful dress, I was worried the guys had dressed me like this to make me stand out. However, looking around now I can see how wrong I was. Every person here is dressed in designer suits and dresses and looks as immaculate as the guys next to me.

As we walk into the room a few people turn and look at us, a few nod to the guys and a few stare at me, I feel the nerves rising again. I quickly put my “show face” on, the one I use when I’m on the stage and trying to forget about all the eyes on me. That becomes easy when I spot Christian in the crowd and my stomach gives a jolt.

There he is sitting at a table surrounded by other men, a whiskey in one as he sits back in his chair. He looks so at ease yet his body language screams respect and dominance. There’s no mistaking how powerful and dangerous he is, yet all I see is my Daddy who holds me when I’m sad and does all he can to make me smile, who says he loves me and would fight the world for me.

Before we’ve even reached him Christians head turns and looks straight at us, and for a second that powerful persona slips as his eyes widen and his jaw drops. I hear Sean laugh quietly next to me.

“Not seen his composure slip in years,” he mutters under his breath as Jason chuckles. I think that is the biggest compliment anyone could give me. Christian is a businessman through and through, but knowing I have that effect on him makes my heart swell and my body heat. I watch as Christian blinks twice before his mask slips back into place with the addition of a slight smile.

As we reach the table, Christian stands quickly followed by those around him. Sean lets go of my arm but stays close as Christian takes my hand, to place a kiss on my knuckles.

“Sweetheart, you are a vision,” he whispers as he leans in and kisses my cheek. I smile at him as he stands tall.

“Thank you.”

Christian places a hand on the bottom of my back as he turns back to the people around us.

“Gentlemen, may I introduce our Jasmine. This is her first experience of a fight,” Christian announces proudly, as I feel his thumb rub against my bare back sending shockwaves through my whole body.

“It’s a pleasure to meet you,” an older man a little shorter than Christian says as he holds out his hand. I place mine in his and give it a quick shake. Christian sits first before everyone else, pulls me onto his lap and places a hand on the bottom of my back before picking up his glass with the other. I steal a quick questioning glance, but Christian gives me that look that tells me there is no point arguing.

“Sweetheart, this is Geralt Young he’s the manager of one of the five warm-up fighters tonight, and an old friend of the family,” Christian explains as he nods to the gentleman whose hand I have just shaken.

“I see, well I hope the fight goes in your favour, Mr Young,” I answer with a smile. Sean spent some time with me this week going over the other fighters whom we support and whom we are a little less inclined to show support for.
