“Oh Jazzy, I take it you didn’t like it?” Jason asks as he looks up at me. I shake my head sitting down in one of the chairs that are still in the room.

“No, she didn’t. She’s a natural though, even hit the bullseye twice. But I think it scared you, didn’t it shorty.”

She nods into Jasons chest as he sighs as runs a hand over her head, before placing a kiss on her hair.

“I’m glad you didn’t like it Jazzy, as I hope it’s a skill you never use. But you need to know how to handle a gun just in case.”

“I know,” she says quietly as I look from her to Jason who gives me a one-sided smile.

“Want me to run you a bath shorty?” I offer her, Jasmine shakes her head.

“I’ll do it,” she lifts her head so she can look at Jason who smiles at her.

“You know you can use my bathroom. You don’t need to ask.” He leans down and presses a kiss to her lips. “Go and get yourself sorted, then when you are clean and in fresh clothes, we can watch a movie together.”

I smile as her face brightens slightly and she climbs off the bed before rushing into the bathroom.

“I’ll get you some clean clothes, shorty,” I call out, hearing the slightest ‘thank you’ through the closed door.

“So, she can shoot? Thought Christian didn’t want her learning how to handle a gun?”

I turn to Jason and shrug. “I think after the last few days he wants her to be prepared for every situation. You both frightened us this week and none of us wants to feel like that again.”

Jason nods as he rubs at his face, flinching when he accidentally rubs against his facial wound.

“Well hopefully with Hudson dead, and people learning about what happened to Flint when he tried to demand money from us, we will be left alone and the worse is over and done with.”

I sigh climbing to my feet to get Jasmine what she needs.

“I hope you are right Jason. I really do.”

One month Later

“So, what do you reckon? Do you think the O’Reilly’s will let you celebrate with us next weekend?”

I glance at Danielle and shrug.

“I don’t know. Things are only just settling down after the whole Hudson thing,” I admit taking a sip of my coffee. We walk through the hordes of students desperately trying to escape school for the weekend. I know how they feel, I want nothing more than to go home and curl up with my kindle and my daddies.

“That was a month ago Jaz, there haven’t been any issues or threats to you since! You deserve to go out and celebrate. It’s not every day you turn twenty-one.”

I turn to look at her shrugging.

“Technically I’m not twenty-one for twelve more days,” I point out which earns me one of Danielle’s drastic eye rolls.

“Jasmine Connors are you really going to allow four men to tell you what you can do the weekend before your twenty-first birthday?” she demands as she places her hands on her hips and glares at me.

“But they are four very hot men who can withhold sex,” I point out causing Danielle to choke on her coffee. I laugh as she shakes her head grinning before walking off to the studio she has booked. Leaving me by the exit.

“Get a backbone Connors! Sort it out!” she yells as she disappears into the crowd, as I head to the car park. I never thought Danielle King would be telling me to get a backbone and stand up for myself. Or trying to drag me out for a night of drinking and dancing, but here we are.

A lot has changed in the last month. Jason and I have both healed after our run-ins with Hudson. It has been confirmed that Hudson died from the injuries Jason inflicted on him and everyone learnt quickly not to come at me or the brothers whilst trying to get payment for Tommy’s debts. Last we heard Tommy was hiding out abroad somewhere and hasn’t attempted to make any contact. Sean went to the villa in Majorca to check if that’s where he was hiding. But there was no sign of him. I won’t pretend that I’m disappointed. With my birthday coming up, it means it’s time for our annual trip to the villa. This will be our first holiday since my relationship with the guys began and I can’t wait. I want to go and ignore all my worries for a week. Because at the moment I constantly feel like something is going wrong or about to. One worry is my mother.

Since my attack, I’ve tried to reach out to her and she has refused all contact, as far as we are aware she is still in the house which the guys pay a cleaner to keep clean. Apparently, the house is staying clean on the days the cleaner isn’t there and we are taking that as a sign that she is having a few good months. Maybe one day she will reach out, and when she does, I will be here. But I also will not let her drag me down again, I am happy and in a great place with four men that love me and I have never been happier.
