“What are you doing here?” Sadie asks as she reaches us.
“I missed you,” I reply as I place Alice on the ground and grab Sadie’s hand so I can pull her towards me and kiss her as my arm wraps around her waist. She holds on to my shirt fabric and tugs me closer. Reluctantly I pull away so I can reach through the open car window behind me and pull out a single sunflower.
“Hi,” I whispered smirking as I hold it out for her.
“Hi, yourself,” she replies taking it.
“When did you become such a romantic?” Trudy groans next to us. I look at her and smile.
“About three weeks ago apparently,” I reply keeping Sadie pressed against me.
“I don’t know whether to congratulate you for growing up or puke!” Trudy sighs as she watches her daughter climb into her car next to mine. I don’t miss the smile on her face as she looks at me.
“I thought you were working away again tonight?” Sadie asks. I watch as she smells her flower.
“I was but Quinn offered to take over so I could see you,” I reply smiling.
“Yep, puke. I’m going to puke,” Trudy exclaims as she holds her stomach playfully. I roll my eyes as Sadie giggles beside me.
“Go home Trudy,” I sigh as she winks at me.
“I’m going,” she calls as she heads towards her car. “Be good!” she adds as she opens her car door and smiles at us. “Don’t do anything I wouldn’t do!”
“That doesn’t leave much!” Sadie calls after her as I stare open-mouthed.
“Sweetheart, that’s my baby sister!” I exclaim. Sadie bursts out laughing and kisses me on the cheek before heading to the passenger side of the car.
“Oh stop it you are both as bad as each other,” she laughs climbing in to her seat. I quickly wave to Alice as Trudy drives away and climb in myself.
As I drive away from the library I place a hand on Sadies thigh and sigh.
“Why are you wearing trousers?” I sulk. If I’m picking Sadie up she tends to wear skirts and will remove her underwear before I get there for easy access. My girl is always up for a little foreplay before we get back to hers. Which is fine by me as I’m more than happy to hear her moan after a long day.
“I would have worn a skirt if I knew you were coming home early.”
I hum deep in my throat, as she has a point. Luckily, we will be at hers in minutes and I can rectify the problem.
As soon as I pull up in front of the house I look to the lounge window just as Binx jumps into view. I chuckle as I get out of the car and wait for Sadie.
“Someone has missed you as much as I have,” she says as she stands beside me. I turn around and sweep her off her feet, causing her to squeal.
“I have to admit I missed you more than the little bugger,” I wink at her as she wraps her arms around my neck whilst I carry her to the front door. I place her on her feet and wrap my arms around her from behind as she unlocks the door. I brush her hair to one side so I can kiss her neck.
“You have thirty seconds to get to your room and out of those trousers before I lose all self-control and rip them from you,” I growl in her ear. Sadie’s sweet, excited giggle sounds around us and I can’t stop the moan that escapes my chest. Sadie giggles again, the little minx knows exactly what she does to me, and loves it.
She gets the door unlocked and near enough falls into the house laughing, with me right behind her.
“Thirty,” I call, causing her to drop her bag and rush for the stairs, as her laughter fills the air. I take my phone out of my pocket, “twenty-nine,” and place it on the table by the door. “Twenty-eight!” I pick up Sadies bag and put it with my phone and her keys which I removed from the lock after making sure it was secure. “Twenty-five.”
“What happened to the other numbers?” she calls as I head for the stairs.
“They were counted in my head!” I call back. “Twenty,” I add with a smile as I take the stairs two at a time. I walk into the bedroom and find Sadie already half-undressed.
“Five.”
Sadie spins around as her face breaks into the most beautiful smile.
“You are such a cheater!” she laughs as her jumper drops to the floor leaving her in nothing but a black lace thong and bra set.
