“Fuck.”I know what I have to do, and the thought of getting off in a stranger’s bathroom is completely mortify- ing, but I already know this stiffy isn’t going away on its own.

I tug open the top drawer of the vanity and immediately spot a bottle of lube—no surprises there. I retrieve it and set it on the counter. Then I strip off my t-shirt, shorts, and boxer briefs; the last thing I want is to get cum on my clothes. I doubt anyone would even notice but still...

I slick up two of my fingers and reach behind me, pushing them inside my hole as I palm my dick with my other hand. I let out a soft groan, my eyes falling closed. Only to snap open a second later as an image of Alastor fucking the little blond guy flashes into my mind.

I don’t know whether to be horrified that I’m thinking about Alastor while I’m wanking, or relieved that for the first time in years I’m not seeing Trent. I don’t have time to decide, because there’s a hard knock on the door and I hear a familiar voice calling, “Macey!”

Alastor

“Did you see where Jack went?” I ask Stevie.

He shrugs. “Bathroom, maybe?”

I frown. Maybe. Or maybe he’s so freaked out he

bailed. I’m really hoping that’s not the case, though; my intention with this was to push him out of his comfort zone, not scare the hell out of him. I decide to try the bath- room first.

“Macey,” I call, giving the door a couple of hard raps. “You in there?”

There’s a brief moment of quiet, then he answers. “No.”

I roll my eyes. “Okay, I’m coming in.”

“What? No!”

I ignore him. I just need to make sure he’s not having a

panic attack or something and then I can leave him to his freak out in peace. I push the door open, and as I do, the light suddenly turns off, cloaking the bathroom in completely blackness.

“Close the door,” he hisses, sounding almost panicked.

I slip inside and close the door behind me. “Okay. What’s going on?”

I can practically hear his eyes rolling when he says, “I meant close it with you on the other side.”

I let out a breath of laughter. “Well now I’m really intrigued. What are you doing in here? In the dark...”

“It wasn’t dark until you barged in,” he says irritably. “And you need the lights off...why?”

“Just go away,” he growls.

I probably should—he doesn’t sound like he’s having a

panic attack, so I’ve cleared my conscience over that one— but my curiosity is just way too strong. What the hell is he up to that he doesn’t want me to see? Unfortunately, this bathroom doesn’t have a window, so there’s not even any dim moonlight to see by. It’s completely black except for a tiny sliver of light peeking through under the door.

I use that sliver to navigate my way around the bath- room. I’ve been in here plenty of times before, so I know the light switch is near the vanity counter rather than the door, which is totally ridiculous but whatever. I move slowly until I’m around the spot where I think Jack must be. I reach out to make sure and encounter bare skin.

“What happened to your t-shirt?” I ask curiously. “I...took it off.”

Because that makes sense. “Why?”

“I was going to have a shower,” he admits grudgingly. “A shower?” I can’t help the scepticism that laces my

tone. As far as I’m aware, Jack didn’t get involved in any of the activity out in the living room so he can’t have gotten messy enough to need washing down. “In the bathroom of a guy you haven’t even met?”

“Yes,” he grates out, clearly annoyed.
