“Hugo and Sofia is what is going on,” I tell him, and I see him bristle.
“Over my dead body,” he grits out, and I curl my lips to try to stop the smile trying to escape.
“I’m serious. It is not happening,” he states again before my lips break the hold I have, and I smile, watching my man start to unravel at the news.
“Well, I guess once we go back to New York, you won’t be around to watch her?” I state, knowing that I will talk to Lucas about it anyway.
“She will come with us, and I will lock her up at the compound.” Nico leaves no room for questions.
“Now let's go inside before they get too acquainted. The last thing I need is your brother in my family business,” he says, grabbing my hand and leading me inside.
But that is what we need to remember. Hugo is now family and Dragonfly is now one of our business interests. He and Hugo need to get along.
