He winked at her, but before he disappeared out the back door, he lingered in the doorway.
“Are you sure about Montshire?” he asked reluctantly.
My eyebrows shot up as I read the warning in his voice.
“Yes, why?” my sister answered.
Atlas shrugged and turned away to slide open the glass doors.
“The dragon who runs Montshire is quite a character,” he offered.
“What does that mean?” Dahlia demanded, but my mate was already gone.
She turned her brown eyes on me questioningly. I grinned.
“It means that dragon is an asshole,” I offered by way of translation. “But really, what are the chances of you meeting him, anyway?”
