Being with Lucius really was the true meaning of the statement often made when you told yourself that you have finally found your soul mate. Which was why I totally understood why he pulled me close and breathed me in the moment he finally got me alone in his private living space. As if trying to merge the scent of the mountain around us with that of my own body, painting a picture in his mind. A memory he treasured of the time we had both spent here together.

A time before I ran away from him.

“I’m not going anywhere, Lucius,” I said in an amused tone, trying to lighten the mood as I could feel his arms tighten around me in a possessive way. However, it was when I said this that he pulled back so as he could look down at me.

“No. You. Are. Not,” he said, his tone emphasizing each word like it was law. So, knowing there was only one way to get him to stop worrying, I wrapped my arms around him and hugged him to me. Then after seconds waiting for him to relax in my hold, I reached up on my tip toes and asked,

“Does someone need a plate full of my awesome chilli fries?” At this he threw his head back and laughed so loud, it now echoed throughout the whole cavern, making me grip on to his jacket tighter. Then I raised a hand up to cup his cheek and asked,

“You okay, honey?” His eyes warmed at that and after taking a quick look around and squeezing me tight, he told me affectionately,

“I am now.”

“I thoughtDariush could only take one person through a portal, and didn’t you say something about blood?” I asked as it suddenly occurred to me. This was after we had consumed my promised chilli fries, (thank you, full pantry and well stocked freezer room) and we were now sitting all snuggled up on his couch. But of course, we had already had the difficult conversation about what had happened once he left the battlefield. Yet I also felt hope, just like he did, that Kala would one day want to join our world, but agreed that a time of peace was what she needed in order to heal. Naturally, I had also been shocked to hear that Kala wasn’t the only being he had managed to make peace with. Lucius had even laughed at how I tried to play it cool with this piece of an atom-sized bombshell he just casually dropped on me. Going so far as nearly choking on a fry and needing Lucius to pat me on the back to aid its decent to my belly.

“I share the same blood with Dariush, as now do you, which means he will always be able to take both of us through his portals.” I grinned at this and made the joke,

“Well in that case, I will just toss away my passport now.” He chuckled at this and reminded me,

“I think you will find that difficult to do seeing as it is still in my possession.”

“Wait, you have my passport?” I asked in surprise.

“That depends, which one are you referring to? The one with the name Amelia Faith Draven, or the fake one you ever so adorably named Lia Earhart, for naturally, I have both.” I tensed at this.

“And there it is, the first run away snipe since being back here. Congratulations, Lucius, you lasted all of two hours before reminding me of my flighty misdemeanour,” I said grumbling, and he pulled me closer to him.

“Maybe I am just using it as a way to remind you of something else… a deal we made perhaps,” he whispered before looking down at his crotch and the definite hard on I found straining against his suit pants. I wondered why he didn’t pick a more comfortable outfit seeing as we were relaxing in his home.

At the very least he had rid himself free of the jacket and rolled up his sleeves when he helped me chop up the ingredients for our dinner earlier. I had enjoyed the normality of it all, as I seriously couldn't remember the last time I had actually cooked or when we had done something so mundane together.

“Erh, I think you will find the deal is for blow jobs before the fact not after you have made some judgey comment and then you get one as a reward,” I pointed out, making him counter,

“Then should I come up with a cock sucking schedule and fix it to the fridge, as I am more than flexible to do so… tell me, my Amelia, do you happen to have any Star Trek magnets lying around?” His teasing made me burst into a fit of giggles, something he looked pleased with.

“Unfortunately not, no,” I said, still laughing and something that only continued when he replied,

“Pity… having it chiselled in stone will have to do.”

“You’re funny,” I commented, making him grin.

“I am glad you think so, something that is vastly easier to do when you bring such light into my laugh.”

“Aww, that’s nice… hey, does this mean I get time off the cock sucking schedule?” At this he frowned comically before shouting as if horrified by the idea,

“Absolutely not!”

Again I started giggling before another question about Dariush and his portals popped in my head.

“So, these portals…”

“Oh good, we are back to that and not on my owed oral pleasure,” Lucius interrupted dryly, making me pause long enough to frown.

“I just wondered if he can he create them anywhere?” I asked.

“He does have certain limitations, it’s true, but there are not many, especially not where his powers are vastly stronger, which is most likely why he prefers Hell to the mortal realm. Creating portals there comes more naturally to him than anywhere else. I can imagine it’s as easy as breathing for him,” Lucius replied, being surprisingly forthcoming about it all.
