William laughed, withdrawing his hand so as to take both cups and set them on the floor. I pulled him on top of me, allowing him to devour me much as he had last night. And it was difficult to come away from the bed with him. After all the time of separation, no partner had filled me with pure pleasure in the same way William effortlessly did. We fit together perfectly, like two pieces of the same puzzle. Every movement made was in synchronization and every climax reached was better than the one before.

However, we did manage it, to pull apart before evening. William dressed himself, knuckles practically white from the restraint it took tonotdive back inside me. I laid on his bed, twirling my tangled hair as I watched him.

He raised an eyebrow, “Are you planning to run back to London looking like that?”

“And if I was?” I rolled over onto my stomach, looking back at his eyes as they glued themselves to my rear. His teeth sunk into his lip and he ran a frustrated hand through his hair.

“If anyone looks at you, then I may have to rip their eyes from their heads.”

I cackled, rising from the bed to kiss him, his hands traveling across my skin to my ass.

“Shall we go then?” I inquired, sauntering toward the bedroom door.

He gripped my wrist, “Absolutely not. I am fond of Horris and Filip but theultima mortemwill be swift should they see you so decadently undone.” He pulled from his armoire a pair of tan trousers and a white shirt. “Wear this.”

I snatched the clothes from him, grinning mischievously, “Fine, but I’m going to let them know you’d so easily turn your back on them.” It was William’s turn to laugh, he placed a soft kiss to my hair.

“I believe they may already know.”

I donned his clothes, which hung loosely on me as we ran back to London hand in hand. Despite the dress having been that of Horris’s ex, we left it in the corner of the room untouched.

When we arrived at his flat, I was surprised to see Filip open the door with such speed, his eyes full of merriment at both William and I in our rumpled states.

“My, my,” he said, smirking. “I can tell you two have been very busy indeed.” Horris laughed from the sofa, bidding us good evening. William brushed past him to tug me into the hallway, rolling his eyes.

“We were worried about the two of you, thank you for making an appearance.” Filip slung himself onto the sofa with Horris who pulled cigars from his pocket.

The sight was crippling to me, after years alone. So many people filled the small space, people I enjoyed, who knew me most authentically without any lies.

“We’re taking a shower,” William stated, pulling me into the bathroom. Once in the room, Filip and Horris’s murmurs quieted, exasperated and entertained. William turned on the shower head of Horris’s luxurious bathtub, pulling the rain-soaked clothes from me. His fingers left blazing trails over my bare skin and my bones turned molten. He guided me into the warm spray, the first time I’d ever used a shower, and I groaned in pleasure.

“Won’t they think that’s indecent?” William asked, stepping in himself. I laughed shakily as I threw my hair under the water.

William washed me, running his fingers through my hair as he rinsed it clean of soap and bubbles, trailing the curves of my body as he scrubbed away dirt from the run. He came up and around my breast, slowly licking my lower lip, sucking it into his mouth. I melted into his arms and he nibbled my lip. My exhale was heavy with wanting.

“Not here.” His voice was low and husky, and I felt his hard length press into my pelvis. I took it in my hand, listening to him suck in a sharp breath.

“You’re right,” I said, motioning my head toward the living room through the door. William sighed, turning off the shower water.

“Out with you!” I laughed, jumping from the shower to wrap myself in a towel. Before William could grab his own, I ran with it to my room, laughing merrily. He cursed, dashing after me naked down the hallway.

He slammed the bedroom door, throwing me onto the bed, our wet bodies slipping against each other as he kissed me. His mouth came over my nipple and my body acted of its own accord, arching up to him, tangling up in his limbs. I felt his fingers brush against the slick opening between my thighs.

My moan was shaky, I was liquid fire.

“Shall we leave?” Horris asked from the living room.

“Fuck,” I laughed. “No, we will!”

“Curse vampyre hearing,” William growled against my breast.

“Absolutely no privacy.” I ran my hand through his wet, copper hair. We dressed and sorted ourselves before convening with the others in the living room. It weighed on my mind, the need to rid us of the damned looming cloud.

“Alright, gentlemen,” I announced coming into the living space. “Fancy vampiric murder?” Horris and Filip exchanged glances as I seated myself on the arm of the couch. William’s arm wound around my waist from behind.

“What are you plotting, Rosemary?” Filip asked incredulously, eyeing my choice of trousers.

“Noel,” I said flatly, “we hunt her and kill her once and for all. Damn that bitch for everything she’s done, it’s overdue, really.”
