Ben shuddered. “And you thought I’d be bad shut up on a train…” Ben’s fear of small, dark spaces had not abated at all. Only the other day Squeezy had been forcing Tim to watchThe Descent, previously one of Ben’s favourite films, and he’d had to leave them to it, utterly overwhelmed by claustrophobia. It was some achievement, he reckoned, getting claustrophobic in a vast house made almost entirely of glass.

Ben carefully tipped Nikolas off, secretly relishing the moment when they separated, the tingle of pleasure the emptying created deep in the base of his spine. He felt interest return, his cock swelling with need once more. “Can you get an erection in space?”

Nikolas, in the act of lighting another cigarette, paused. After a moment he resumed but remarked casually, “That is the kind of science question I usually refer to Miles, but perhaps this one time I won’t.”

“I mean, zero-gravity. Maybe cocks are up all the time—they float?”

Nikolas shook his head. “Low blood pressure. I suspect astronauts are impotent.”

“Huh.”

“And when you thrust against someone you would…bounce away.”

“We’d have to be anchored. Like with harnesses.”

“We could do that here.”

Ben ignored this in favour of checking to see if Nikolas was ready for round two. He was pushing his luck. Neither of them were teenagers.

Nikolas groaned a little and shut his eyes to the pleasure as Ben’s hand gripped him.

“Maybe you could pressure Philipa to make one of their safe houses available to you. I dunno—like on Mustique?”

“You make The Family sound like the Mafia.” Nikolas appeared to like this comparison and smirked around his cigarette.

“No pirates and no bears though...”

“Worse: celebrities.”

Ben rolled onto his back with a sigh. Nikolas replaced Ben’s hand where it was wanted. Instead of complying, Ben just rolled Nikolas onto his belly, ignoring the slightly feeble protest, which was more, he suspected, due to the inconvenience of prone smoking than reluctance to get fucked. Nikolas never needed any encouragement to allow Ben into his body.

Ben was ready, even if Nikolas wasn’t, but Nikolas was enjoying his cigarette so Ben felt justified in taking his pleasure too and slid his full length deep into the pliant form with a grunt of approval, which was followed by a pillow-muffled, “Do they have sex holidays anywhere do you think?”

Ben narrowed his eyes. “Don’t even go there.”

It was hard, Ben assumed, to appear innocent to someone who knew you were anything but. Nikolas carried the look off relatively well, considering. Ben changed angle a little—Nikolas needed to concentrate on what he ought to. The tactic appeared to work, for Nikolas tensed and arched, craning his neck back and a soft moan escaped his habitual lockdown.

“Good?” Ben knew he was wasting his time. Fourteen years of having sex together and Ben could count the words Nikolas had said about it on the fingers of one hand. But then Nikolas never really needed to speak—his superb body told Ben all he needed to know. Hands now on Nikolas’s ribs, he could feel his heart beating fast and strong, his sinewy muscles flexing as he took the extreme pounding. Arched, Nikolas’s shoulder blades flared like stunted wings, and it felt to Ben as if he were riding Nikolas, driving him as they flew together to this elusive destination. He was tiring, sensed that Nikolas was too, reached beneath and then with just a few jerks brought them off together.

There was no particular finesse to his finish.

There didn’t need to be—they knew each other too well to bother with formalities.

Ben just grunted and collapsed.

Nikolas rolled to one side, flicked his cigarette into his ashtray and spooned around him.

“It’s so ridiculous. You’re a billionaire, Nik. Just choose, yeah—anywhere in the entire world. Everywhere—it’s all yours! Where doyouwant to go?”

Nikolas began to chuckle against the back of Ben’s neck and hugged him closer until Ben could feel the strong heartbeat through his own skin. After a pause, when the warm darkness had begun to summon Ben into its welcoming embrace, he heard a murmured, “I’m already there,Min Skat. I’m already there.”
