My world shatters. I deserve whatever fate they have in store for me. Let a hundred men fuck me—let a thousand. There is nothing left for me here.

“Bring out the dead!” Frank’s voice rings throughout the cavernous room.

I hear a creak followed by grunts and moans. I look past the curtain and see a burly man leading a rager onto the stage with a capture noose, a leash used on animals so the handler doesn’t get bit.

“W-w-why are you showing me this?”the girly voice whines.

“So you know what happens when you misbehave?”

He’s going to make an example out of me…

I deserve death for what I’ve done. Gabriel was a beautiful soul, and not only did I corrupt him, but my bratty demands led to his death.

But if I’m going to die, I’m not going out alone. I’m going to take out as many of those bastards as I can.

I look around to assess the situation. They took my belt but left me in layers of clothes, which I can use to my advantage.

“She’s sitting up,”Madam Frisk says.

“Morning, sweetheart.” Frank’s voice is as sweet as honey. “Bet you never thought you’d be up on stage again after the ruckus you caused.”

I take off my outermost layer, a sweatshirt with integrity enough to withstand a bite, or so Gabriel said.

“Had to move the whole goddamn club, in case your knuckle-headed boyfriend came back. Fortunately, we won’t have to worry about him anymore.”

My lip sneers up, baring my teeth. Not that I’m capable of intimidating anyone at this point. To them, I’m just a weak, pretty thing. But Gabriel trained me in stealth and evasion, and I have a little surprise for them.

“I don’t want to see this!”the girl yells, panicked.“I’m scared!”

“As long as you stay off the stage, it won’t see you. It’ll be too focused on her,” Madam Frisk says.

“I don’t want it to focus on anybody!”

I hear the slap of flesh and the girl yelps.

The shred of decency I have left in me feels bad at what I’m about to do, because that very innocent sounding girl is about to get a brutal wake-up call. One that might take her to her grave.

Better that than to be Frank’s pet.

Frank gets up from his seat and hauls the girl closer to the stage. “Unleash it.”

I wind my hands around the sleeves of the sweatshirt, take a deep breath, and wait to strike as I study the undead creature.

Its flesh isn’t as old as the ones I’d seen with Gabriel, and there’s a haunting familiarity to it.

And that’s when I realize who I’m staring at.

Frank laughs maniacally. “Thought you might like a familiar face.”

I swallow the lump that’s formed in my throat, wondering how the hell Celeste ended up here, a walking corpse. And I have to admit, I’m slightly amused that she’ll be my tool of revenge.

I’m not foolish enough to think it will be easy to pull off or that I’ll make it out of here alive, but that’s not the goal. The goal is to kill Frank, Frisk, and Roy before I leave this world.

Celeste spots me, or whatever it is you would call her in this ghastly form. Her eyes are hollow, without even the tiniest flicker of humanity, but then again, she’s less monstrous in this form than her last.

I wonder how I’ll look when I eventually turn. If only I could roam the streets with Gabe, united in our hunger, feasting as they did in Lady and the Tramp.

What the fuck is wrong with me?
