“We’ll never let anyone fuck with our lives like that again,” she tells me.

In response, I kiss her, and we stay there until her stomach growls, reminding us we haven’t eaten today.

“I can make us breakfast,” she offers.

“I can do it.” I graze my lips over her neck, breathing her in.

She laughs softly, and I pull back to look at her.

“I know you’re trying to take care of me right now, and that’s really sweet,” she says. “But please don’t make me eat any more of your eggs or peanut butter sandwiches.”

I nip her lips in response, and she gives me another kiss and rolls out of my grasp before I can do what I really want which is pin her down and spend the rest of the day inside her.

“I’ll be in the kitchen.” She tugs my tee shirt and briefs on before nodding at the container on my nightstand. “Take your medicine. I don’t like seeing you in pain.”

I don’t know how she can tell, but it shouldn’t surprise me. Before she can run off, I sit up and reach for her, dragging her back with a squeak so I can grope her.

“You are my medicine, peaches.”

By the time I make it to the kitchen, Bianca’s almost finished cooking us some waffles. I grab a cup of coffee and smack her on the ass before I tug her back against me and start kissing my way up the curve of her neck.

“What was that for?” she asks.

“Running off on me.” I smack her ass again, this time just because I fucking feel like it.

“You make it really hard to focus,” she breathes. “You know that?”

I’m about ready to tell her to forget breakfast, that I’ll eat her pussy instead, but we’re interrupted by Birdie coming through the front door unannounced.

“Hey,” she chirps as she drops some bags by the door. “Ooh are those waffles? I’m starving.”

“Go away,” I tell her as I keep pawing at Bianca. “We’re busy.”

Bianca laughs and looks up at me. “Rude much?”

I shrug. “Do I look like I care?”

“No, you really don’t.” She smiles. “It’s a miracle I ever fell for your grumpy ass.”

“You love it,” I murmur.

“I do.” She gives me a quick kiss before Birdie clears her throat.

“Sorry to interrupt,” she says.

“No, you aren’t,” I grunt.

She grins. “Not even a little bit. I don’t know what I’m going to do now that I have to cook for myself again. I mean Ace does a good job, but you better get used to me dropping in because I’m already going through withdrawals for Bianca’s cooking.”

“Great,” I grumble.

She makes herself at home by coming into the kitchen and grabbing a plate. Bianca encourages her by loading it up with waffles and fruit, and then the three of us sit down together and eat.

“I brought your stuff,” Birdie says. “I figured it was a safe assumption that you’d need it.”

“Thank you,” Bianca responds gratefully.

A beat passes before Birdie leans forward intently, vibrating with happiness. “So, does this mean we can get excited about the baby now?”

Bianca reaches over beneath the table and squeezes my hand before she responds. “Yes. Madden was very excited last night. We both were.”

“Okay, ugh, gross.” Birdie slaps her palms over her ears. “I don’t need to know about that.”

I smirk, shoving the last bite of waffle into my mouth.

“But seriously though?” Birdie asks. “When can we go shopping?”

Bianca looks at me, and I can see this is something we’re both going to have to figure out. She doesn’t want to leave me, and I don’t want her to leave. So, I guess that means Birdie’s going to have to put up with me while they shop.

“Ask Ace when he can go,” I tell her. “We’ll both tag along.”

Birdie beams like I just told her she won the lottery. The woman is a certifiable shopping addict.

Before we can say anything else, the door opens, and Kieran, Tori, Zoe, and Olivia come through. The girls bound into the kitchen a second later, and Zoe runs right up to Bianca with a huge smile on her face.

“Did you remember?”

Bianca looks at me in question, and I rest my arm over the back of her chair, rubbing her shoulder. “She knows.”

“I remember,” she tells Zoe in a gentle voice.

“Good, because Madden really missed you.” Zoe gives her a hug, and Bianca tears up all over again.

It only makes her more emotional when Zoe pulls away and Bianca’s gaze settles on Tori and Kieran.

“Oh my god,” she whispers.

“I know.” Tori offers her a watery smile. “It’s been a long time.”

I’m not sure what to expect or how this situation is going to go down, but Bianca surprises all of us when she gets up and walks over to give Tori a hug. They stay like that for a long time, and then Tori chokes out her own emotional response.
