The man leads us up one set of stairs, and when we reach the top, there’s a small area with a booth that overlooks the dance floor. “I will have someone up here shortly to get your food and drink order.”

“Thank you, Matteo.” Nazyr knows the man by name, so he must have come here quite a bit in the past. I know that Nazyr was quite a party boy. I think it’s obvious, plus I’ve gotten some input from his sister and his sisters-in-law.

Paulo leaves the two of us alone and stands by the entrance of this VIP area. Nazyr and I take a seat, and we barely have our asses on the cushions when a woman in an all-black ensemble comes walking over. Her hair is pulled back in a tight ponytail, and she looks at Nazyr and then over at me.

“What can I get for the two of you today?”

There’s a fake smile plastered on her face, and I can’t tell whether she just doesn’t want to be waiting on us specifically or if she’s had a really crappy day.

Nazyr puts in an order for food and drinks, and the woman tells us she’ll be back when it’s all ready. The music floods through the space, and it’s so loud that Nazyr and I are practically screaming every time we speak. We’re not discussing anything too important, but I find myself laughing at how ridiculous we probably look right now. One thing I love about Nazyr is how every single time I laugh, he looks at me like I’m the most beautiful woman in the world.

Our waitress comes back up to us and places our drinks on the table, then tells us she’ll be back upstairs shortly. I take a sip of my drink, and Nazyr does the same with his own. The two of us chat, but it isn’t about anything too important. I asked him if he’s been here a lot or if it was a place he’s come to a couple of times. He tells me he would frequent this bar a bit, which I already assumed based on him knowing the one man’s name.

“So, why did you really take me out tonight? Was it really for a date, or are you trying to distract me?” I don’t know if I’m going to get any sleep at all tonight. I keep thinking about seeing my little girls, and the thought completely lights up my world. I just want them to be back in my arms. I hope they know I haven’t forgotten about them. I wonder what Duarte said about me. Did he tell them I left? Did he tell them I died? Whatever he said, I won’t be surprised. Duarte is the type of man who will do whatever it takes to make himself look good.

“A bit of both. I know your mind is going to be running a mile a minute today, and I figured this would be a good opportunity for us to distract ourselves. We both have a big day tomorrow. Are you going to be okay going to Portugal with Lom?”

I don’t have much of a choice in the matter. “Yes, it’ll be fine. Plus, you need to be in London. You already said if you’re not there, it’s going to look suspicious, so I’d rather be apart for a couple of days. Especially if it means getting the girls out of there.”

“Okay, good. I just wanted to make sure you don’t think I’m abandoning you at all.”

I place my hand over Nazyr’s and give it a squeeze. This man has done so much for me. A woman who was nothing more than a complete stranger a few weeks ago. I will never, ever think that Nazyr is abandoning me. Hell, he’s the man who showed up for me at the moment when I needed him the most.

“I will never think that. Not even for one minute,” I say, and as I finish speaking, the waitress comes back with our food and places it down on the table in front of us. “I want us to have some fun tonight because tomorrow is going to be crazy.”

“That’s exactly why I suggested we get out for a while. The food’s here, so why don’t we dive in, and then we can head downstairs to the dance floor.”

“That sounds great,” I comment with a smile, and Nazyr opens up the cutlery, and I do the same. I might be a hopeless romantic right now, but I can see myself with him for years to come. Sometimes, I can’t even believe I have thoughts like this. There was a time when I didn’t even know if tomorrow was guaranteed, but now I know that no harm would ever come to me. Nazyr simply wouldn’t allow it.

When he first suggested I stay with him and come here to Grozny, I wasn’t too optimistic. I thought that he might be a devil, just like Duarte. Over the weeks, Nazyr has only proven that he’s the kind of devil that will fight for me in whatever way I need him to.

He’s more of a dark angel if you ask me.

The two of us enjoy our dinner and have a grand time chatting with one another, just like always. By the time we’re both done and have ordered dessert, it’s been over an hour and a half, and I have a good buzz going. I’m not sure about him, but he’s smiling a lot more than usual. That’s usually a tell-tale sign that he has a bit of a buzz too.

Nazyr and I head down to the dance floor just like he wanted, and we’re both having an amazing time. He’s swaying to the beat of the music, his hands running up and down my body, and I’m doing the same. Our movements match perfectly, and at one point, I turn around so my back is against his chest. I’m shaking my ass, grinding against him in certain movements. I know exactly what I’m doing, and I’m waiting for him to react. I’m sort of egging him on, honestly.

When I was in college, there were a few times when I went out to clubs and would dance a bit provocatively. But I never had a man like Nazyr before, so this feels like an entirely new experience for me.

I shut my eyes, dancing to the beat of the new song that’s playing over the top of us, when I feel his hand tighten around my waist. I turn my head back to face him, and there’s a bit of mischievousness in his eyes.

He leans down, pressing his lips against my ear. “Come with me,”

Nazyr takes my hand and leads me through the crowd of people. I apologize to a couple of people because Nazyr is walking with such speed that I physically bump into them. By the time we’re out of the crowd, Nazyr is taking me down a hallway until we reach two bouncers who are guarding a portion of it. They both step to the side and allow Nazyr to pass, which makes me wonder if he knows the owner of this place or if he’s actually the owner.

We pass the bouncers and continue down the corridor until he’s pushing open a doorway. It leads into a small office, which doubles as a storage room. I’m about to ask him what this place is when he plants his lips on mine.

He begins ravaging my body with his hands, and I moan into his mouth in response. Holy shit. This is bloody amazing. I feel like the heroine in a romance movie. That’s every woman’s dream, and if they say it isn’t, they’re fucking lying.

We begin acting like two animals, tearing the other’s clothes off in record time until they’re thrown around the office. I haven’t even looked to see if the door is locked, but a part of me doesn’t care. There are bouncers down the hall guarding this part of the club, and if, by some odd chance, someone decided to open the door, I know Nazyr would handle it just like he does everything else.

I kiss Nazyr with more passion and heat than I ever have, and I don’t feel like there’s any foreplay happening here. He flips me around and places my body over the desk. My tits hit the cool wood, and Nazyr lines himself up at my entrance before jamming himself inside me.

I moan at the sudden intrusion as my walls adjust to his size, but I’m not complaining in the least bit. He begins rocking in and out of me over and over again. I arch my back, and he picks up the pace of his thrusts, which is exactly what I want. I want him to ravage me. I want him to fuck me like the two of us might never see each other ever again because who knows what’s going to happen tomorrow.

If all goes well, great, but I’m learning that you can never anticipate what’s going to happen in life. When you do, that’s when you get let down, and I’m tired of being let down. So, I’m going to enjoy the time I have here with Nazyr right now. I’m going to remain in this moment and savor every bit of the bliss he’s bringing to my body. Fuck, I might even beg him to not stop because I need this.

I’ve needed this so badly.
